M2 made these conversions not Konami (Konami only licence games these days, they don't have an inhouse team that I am aware of). I've never played an M2 product that didn't hit a whole bunch of sweet spots (They convert a lot of shooters in Japan from Cave etc). If its M2, its a really great product and I believe making people aware of products being M2 will help them to get other conversions that people want. They are obviously passionate about the work that they do. So anyway, anyone reading this.. M2 made this product. I'll buy the physical edition since its worth the price. I cannot play handheld for long periods of time so having this on the TV with the sound pumping out is just music to my ears.

@@TheGebs24 I don't support any download unless it's free. The last game I bought digital was a launch psn game on ps3. I downloaded the P. T demo on ps4 which is sweet it's boosted my ps4 value to over £500. I have over 700 CIB games and my hobby will stay with physical.

People who haven't played these have no idea what a great package this is. It's so fun to play! I still can't believe its 24.99. I paid like $18 bucks cause I had extra Nintendo points from the other games I've bought. Love it love it! 😃 😊

It feels like the Lord answers prayers haha! Great video I guess I’ll subscribe😌👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The only Castlevania I’ve ever beat was Dawn of Sorrow, it is also the first I ever played. I grew up with the Sega Genesis but loved reading about the Castlevania series and missed out on Bloodlines. I owned all three of the DS trilogy games but I was back in school and only beat DoS then got married…I was convinced to sell off my collection and get the Switch. Very happy to have them all back in hand, I’m only missing a few DS/WiiU games now and I intend to finish all of this in the near future🙌🏾

I already got this, I downloaded it on my Switch as soon as it released. I'm a HUGE Castlevania fan, planning on getting 100% in all three of these. Just wish it had got a PS4 release as well so I could get Trophies for it. (Only current Gen console I have is the Switch) But I'm glad that it has built in Achievements to get! Been playing this almost nonstop since I got it, also Portrait of Ruin is my favorite Castlevania!

Planning to buy on Steam for my Steam Deck. I have them for my DS but would love to play in a much larger OLED display. Hopefully one day we get a collection of the two N64 Castlevania games. I have a lot of nostalgia for them, Castlevania (64) was my very first Castlevania game. Always liked it, still do till this day. Without my personal nostalgia for it I no doubt would have completely different feelings for them. I still own the original games for my N64, play them from time to time and still greatly enjoy my time with them.

I don't know about the European versions, but complete North American copies of the DS Castlevania games tend to be pretty damn pricey. Luckily I have them all, but since I currently have no working DS and never bothered to set up DS emulators, Konami's finally made me cave on getting a retro collection.

@@atomiswave1971 I'm well aware. M2 ported MGS1 in the Master Collection, and that was awful due to Konami's interference. This could have been bad as well. They could have asked for M2 to port the mobile version of DoS or something. Thankfully, it looks like they had the latitude to do it right.

I went ahead and preordered it through LRG as I wanted physical. This is my first purchase through them. I heard some horror stories on when they ship it vs when they claim to ship it. Showing will begin to ship Feb 1st through 31st 2025. We shall see lol

Order of Eclesia is my favorite Clastevania. I always went back to Symphony of the Night, (which lost its place to Eclesia in my heart), and still have my copy of it I got back when it came out in the 90s; the disc destroyed and wouldn't work even if I still had a ps1, so I've been emulating it over the years. Since I played Eclesia I've been doing the same, so for one I'm happy that a newer copy is coming out :)

I agree with 99% of what you are saying but for the love of god can we get some filters? The hard pixels are painful. I play these games regularly on emulators and nearly all emulators have some form of filtering to smooth out the jaggies.

As reseller, I do well with the DS castlevania games as all 3 were gold. The Netflix show has regained peoples interest in this franchise that doesn't seem to have any new entires as of late sadly. This is a much more affordable legitimate way for people to enjoy these games. However collectors will always look out to purchase the original DS trilogy of CV games.

Quality of life features? God I hate that expression. Who said my quality of life will improve? How will it improve? 😂 These features are more like game cheating mechanics. While I might be able to accept save states, the ability to rewind is a complete joke, ruins any challenge, and actually ruins your life! The point, reward and satisfaction of these games is to get good, not cheat because of a skill issue.
