Crazy G string bends! What string gauge is that?

hey! the jauge I use on this bass is 105 - 85 - 65 - 45 - 32. Also its tuned EADGC, its much better for playing chords and solos than the classic BEADG.

How do you get that amazing tone 🤯

For my leads, it starts as a regular guitar solo tone with lots of gain and a pitch shifter set to octave up at the very start of the chain. Then in an equalizer, I do a big boost between 650 Hz and 2000 Hz, and cut everything below 300 Hz. Also on my bass, I only use the bridge pickup and I completely roll off the tone knob (otherwise the clang of the bass gets in the way). And for my rhythm tone, it's like a "metallica" type of rhythm tone, but with the gain and the gate set up WAY way high. Bridge pickup only and this time the tone knob stays at 10. Try to play mostly on the D string or above, as it gets really muddy if you try to do chords with the E string. I hope this helps :) If you use bias fx too, I can send you the tones via the cloud if you're interested.
