These are the words you don't want to hear while playing Simon's Quest, for a number of reasons: maybe you wanted to visit the church, buy some laurels or get the good ending (ç_ç), but one thing is certain, that you're gonna listen to Monster Dance.
It's the most under appreciated song in the franchise probably and it never got remixed outside of the recent SSBU Medley.
FDS Comparison: NES is still better, but the FDS is the best of the other version of CV2 anyway. It's just that good of a song.

This song has always felt like the opposite of Bloody Tears. The melody envokes this reverse feeling, as if Simon is in a backwards world where everyone is trying to kill him. Unlike Bloody Tears, which has a confident melody that makes you want to keep moving forward, this song truly makes you feel....cursed.

Excellent way of putting it. It seems like that's why Bloody Tears only plays in the wilderness areas, but this song plays even when in towns. Because you are not safe anywhere, not until the morning sun vanquishes the horrible night.

One of the toughest games Ive ever played it took a long time to beat it but the soundtrack to this game was hands down awesome for it's time many people didn't like this game but I enjoyed it it was definitely worth playing
