@plantguy9 The music is called "Dance of Illusions", and is in almost all Castlevania games as the classic Draculas's Battle Theme. Another examples is the Richter's battle against him in the beginning of Synphony of the Night for PSOne and against "Dracula" in Dawn of Sorrow for Nintendo DS (I'll not explain why the quotes to avoid spoiling).

He might be the same character, or strongly based on Saint-Germain, try using his 2nd color, after a minute, you'll believe you're playing with Saint Germain, the illusion is near-perfect. There are a few more things that makes me believe he might be St-Germain. He does say "In this place, I can fight, too". Remember how St G. said he could fight you because he was free of the effects of time? In addition, look at Aeon's Hyper and remember when StG's attack when he stops time. Almost the same.

It may be a text ending, but the music and text makes Aeon's ending sad. It must be lonely for him to have no Time Era of his own to return too. Plus, the fact that this music only plays for Aeon makes it more impactful. Not even Cornel, Golem or Dracula have this Ending Theme.

read the ends, Aeon also wanders time to satisfy his curiosity. Saint Germain tries to prevent Hector to be the vessel of Dracula until he realises Hector kicks ass.

while the artwork is indeed ugly, it's no reason to not apreciate the game. saddly, it's a bland and boring fighting game. too bad that an interesting character like aeon had to be wasted on this one
