Just something I'd point out with Phase 2 Dracula, Lewis. I learned the hard way that even with healing items, you're much better off attacking the projectiles instead of trying to dodge them. Yeah, turns out dodging them is exactly what you're NOT supposed to do, ever. It will never save you.

Interestingly enough, the chant appears to be Arabic, but it's actually a sample track. Many Zelda dungeon tracks are just remixed from a series of sample tracks. Said sample track is used in a variety of other games, such as Crusin' World. The revised fire temple audio was also created before Ocarina of Time's Japanese release date, so the change was done pre-emptively, with some people believing the music in the original version was actually left over by accident and the adjusted track being the original plan, and others believing the chanting was the completed track with the replacement being a previous version.

Dracula is said to be able to turn himself into a wolf in some versions of the story. That's why he takes Cornell's werewolf transformation, and I assume that's why Alucard has a wolf transformation in SotN.

I always thought the whole Malus thing was to be a loophole to circumvent the resurrection every hundred years BS. And taking Cornell's werebeast cause he was the strongest of the werebeast's, which explains why Dracula never bothered with using the other werebeasts instead.

Old fighting games are generally unbalanced but even today, you get that character that dominates tourneys til the next patch. Honestly, it's a bit of a meme that a dlc character is broken right out the gate then everyone bitches. (Arcsys games and Tekken might be the most guilty) The Luke apocolypse at the end of SFV was so funny.

The Fire Temple's original "music" was a bunch of instruments playing over a remixed version of the Islamic call for prayers. You can see how that wasn't exactly what you would call appropriate.

Also, "world war"? Doesn't this game take place in the mid 19th century? Even if Death was talking about the Crimean War, that only involved six nations, all in Europe, and hardly had any casualties in comparison to the American Civil War.

annoying as hell, but that second phase dracula fight has some pretty cool imagery tho. so, cornell and ada's story is pretty much the same as grey fox and naomi hunter's, just less depressing by the end. (y'know until cornell has to sacrifice himself to help henry and tells him to tell ada the truth while claiming that fighting was the only thing he was ever good at and at least he believed in what he fought for.............maybe).
