I do love that, of the 3 Belmonts we've really seen at their peak (thus far, at least), Trevor, Juste, and Richter all feel like they have very distinct fighting styles, and that stays true even if we include Sypha in the mix- Juste's use of both weapons and magic feels like it stands out from his ancestors, and Richter's style where he punches Vampires to death at point-blank is equally distinct. It doesn't feel like any of the characters are a copy-paste of what we've seen before, which is nice.

Exactly, in no moment it felt like i was just seeing the same person attacking from different angles. Even Juste that has a style similar to Sypha has a VERY distinct feel compared to her, and it isnt just because here he is technically older and more experienced than the Sypha we saw, he FEELS different from her you just notices that their "role" is similar.

And it makes since as each generation of Belmont has different kinds of enemies to face so they adjust their style accordingly.

Richter does feel like he is the perfect blend between Trevor and Sypha. He fights like Trevor in that he prefers the whip and straight hands, he just infuses it with magic. Big props for making Juste does feel distinctly different from Sypha, even when he chooses to exclusively use Speaker-magic. He’s so much more direct and overwhelming in a fight, as opposed to Sypha’s more clutch-support style of fighting.

What I found interesting about this fight is that unlike the Dracula fight where Trevor and co got overwhelmed and Vlad just gave up, they were actually coming out rather evenly.

I think one thing about that is... that the Belmont did get significantly more powerful after Trevor, marrying and having children with Sypha gave them a leg up in firepower, and that fire power only increased even after Juste and Richter.

Is it me or is Ritcher way too physically strong? I barely remember any human in the series that can eat such attacks head-on and still come out like nothing happened. No wonder he is the stronger Belmont ever. Also, this fight scene at least confirms that Erzsebet and Demon Lady (the powered up version) is clearly stronger than Dracula during part one.

By the way he channels magic, i wouldnt put it past that he has some enhanced durability. I mean, if vampires have greater strength because of some sort of "magical" mutation, it isnt farfetched that it is possible to a human to enhance their physical traits too, even if they don't achieve the same natural level. But mind... that Richter clearly is special in that category, Juste was using defenses like Sypha did.

Don’t forget that this byatch swallowed the goddess soul and it made her 1000 times stronger. Not to mention she was a vampire who was killed and turned into night creature. Craziest possible combination. Also, I think that’s good when the main characters struggle a bit and giving Richter his time to shine is fair enough.

Its only me or the main characters power scalling are unbalanced compared to the first castlevania with trevor and sypha? Ik, the new generations are getting stronger but I mean based on the series progression. In the first castlavania we start very slow, then they get stronger and then end up at 100%. Here they are already at 80-90% of that power with way less age or experience, It feels kinda rushed because Dracula had less than half of his power and that was a hell of a fight, but here Erzsebet is at her full power and they are jumping her with a dragon, a magic Bruce Lee/Goku fighting style... Just feels weird at some point
