For example I can say that Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is the prequel to Samus returns because it is technically happening before even tho Prime 3 was made as a sequel to Echoes. So yes, almost everything is a prequel to something else (Majora's Mask is a prequel to Twilight Princess even if it came 6 years after). And in contrary I can say that A Link to the Past is the sequel to OoT even though it came before. I won't bother you with interquels even if non-linear chronological order are filled with.
