Castlevania: SotN - Richter All Bosses in

I like the symmetry in this time. I'm not extremely confident about beating this time, which is a shame since it was another offline + no mic run. Still, this is the biggest single time cut in over 3 years, so I have to be happy with it as-is.

Quick question for ya: does collecting the health upgrades do anything for Richter (other than refill his health, of course)? I noticed that you've been collecting them after Slogra/Gaibon and even the one on the first screen, but then avoided the ones from Olrox's Quarters and onwards.

Yes indeed, Richter starts at 50hp and gets +10 max hp with every health upgrade. There's enough time to grab the extras during the first two minutes since the ceiling in the clock room doesn't open until that much time has passed.

It's strange. Why don't you have freezes when defeating bosses and transitions to other locations?

late to the party but for anyone not in the know this is just how the XBLA version of the game runs. Basically every high level sotn run is on this version due to the lag and slowdown reductions.
