GNR LIES 16 by 9 is an aspect ratio used to display video. Not referring to the Bible. The joke is that he changed the aspect ratio to 16 by 9, which is written as 16:9 like a Bible verse.

As someone who matches colours for a living...it's definitely purple, sorry bud! It also doesn't alternate, that's supposed to be the ''shine'' the ''light'' reflecting off the ''glass tube'' filling up. It does turn blue once it's full, however.

This is very impressive... but how does this count as a glitchless run? getting the silver ring before getting the spike breaker armor is a glitch. As well as using wolf/mist jump in library And holy water dps increase. You could consider it an 'exploit' but how is that different than a glitch?? Idk, I think glitchless needs to be redefined or something

So, any competition needs rules, right? If people were allowed to trip others at the 100 meter sprint, it would be quite different wouldn't it? The "Glitchless" rulesets you see defined for speedruns are defined by the community of people that run the game, they reach a consensus based on what they think will make a fun and interesting category, rather than being 100% glitch free. For example: You could argue that the shield dashing is also a glitch, because it's an unintended game mechanic (not matching "the spirit of the game"), but because of it making the run faster and more fun to run, they kept it. You could also argue that glitches that skip long cutscenes (who wants to play through a game 100s of times seeing the same cutscene? it would stagnate the group of players that would play the category) or that minimize RNG (putting more focus on skill, rather than constantly resetting because you didn't get the perfect random luck setup and thus not being able to break your record). Also, "Mostly glitchless but we do allow these movement glitches and this one skip because it makes the run a lot more playable" is just not as snappy of a category name :)

Those aren't glitches. Why would you even think they are glitches. You don't need the spike armor to get the silver ring, as he clearly showed using the game's ordinary mechanics. Spike armor is an easy way of doing it, but not the only way. Using Holy Water in conjunction with the iron shield spell is just good strategy. Again, what could possibly classify these things as glitches? Are they glitches because you didn't think of them?
