Agreed! She plays such a fun but endearing Nina. I absolutely love all her scenes. She has perfect timing/delivery & no one beats her reactions. When she keeps giving advice: “Who warms the sun?!” When her assistant steals her purse: “Welcome to my nightmare!” When she finds out there are firemen conventions: “You have conventions? Is there some kind of list I could get on?” When Kevin talks about his problems and then realizes she probably doesn’t care, she touches his face tenderly & says, “You know me so well.” Her reactions when the college kids think she’s Finch’s mom & then later in the episode he slays her by saying, “OK, Mom.” 😂 Or when she accidentally reveals her age, “oh yeah, well 50 sucks!” I could keep going, lol. She’s one of my fave characters of all time. She’s phenomenal. Another fave is when she finds out she didn’t hook up w/the lead singer of a band, but a bass player. She’s all panicked, “did he do any backup vocals?” No, but sometimes he’d play the tambourine. And she screams and runs away. 😂😂

Usually when you watch these compilations you are left scratching your head and wondering what happened to part of the joke. But this cast was the proverbial well oiled machine and the writing was so outstanding that just a random line or two cracks you up.

Just Shoot Me! had the best ensemble cast of any sitcom since The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Everything revolved around George Segal as Jack Gallo. Not many actors have ever moved from dramatic roles into comedic ones as seamlessly as George Segal did.
