Great discussion Yong. I personally haven't come across a single article with sound logical explanations or stats showing clearly how WFO is better for a company's bottom line as compared to WFH or vice versa. From my personal experience, we were more productive as a team being remote during pandemic than we are now, even in a hybrid mode. That being said, I like how Amazon is taking care of it's employees. Leaving it up to individual groups to decide how to function moving forward. I think there should never be a blanket policy or a statement that applies for all employees. And that's my two cents.

They’ll lose talent and maybe Elon is Okay with that. I definitely appreciate Amazon’s stance currently as you cannot be a tech company and tell your employees that they cannot use tech and perform they’re job duties remotely. Great topic would be curious if you would extend this into more of a longer form interview with a panel of newly hired remote workers.
