It's great to see the JOL wallet. Like you and many others, I have dozens of wallets, but I always return to my JOL small plus as my EDC. If I am performing a close-up gig and need to quickly reload a bonsalope, then my wallet is either the HOW or Harry Robsons, worker dream (I prefer the zip); it's the instant reset that makes these two wallets, in my opinion, the best workers' wallets. My EDC magic is Quiver with a CSB coin set, the professor's nightmare (great for children and adults). Add a bit of fibre optics) and a deck of cards, and that it.

Awesome!! Thanks for sharing! That all sounds great :) Yeah I don’t know how many wallets I have anymore but a good percentage of them do card to wallet, and none of them even come close in comparison to the JOL for me.

Hi Chris. Thanks for some great videos. In another video you did you also talked about the ring-on-string routine and showed a quick snapshot of you holding the ring on your finger with the string attached and then pulling it of. What routine did you use to do that? That looked awesome. All the best from Robert

Thanks so much Robert. My pleasure! That routine is taught on the pro-flite tutorial by Nicholas Einhorn. Along with some other great moves.

Hi Chris. What’s your preferred peek from the stack of business cards?
@ChrisEdwardsMagic25 күн бұрын
Hey Graham! My favorite would be the Biz Peek by Phill Smith. He teaches it in his release “Humint” and also on his penguin live lecture. Other notable mentions are Peter Turners double lift method and a glide method that is used in Mana by Lewis LeVal. I think it’s okay that I say that.. I’m not exposing much there as far as the routines goes because realistically you can do whatever peek you like when it comes to a routine where you need to secretly obtain information. But these two methods allow you to place a dummy billet that they thing is theirs on the table or put it away somewhere while you still have the card they have written on in front of you. I feel like the handling and mechanics in the biz peek are the most convincing though because there is no dummy billet in play.

The best I’ve come across for impromptu and gimmick-less is called Underlooked by Arthur. I don’t do the exact handling, but the concept is ridiculously simple yet massively deceptive. It fooled my closest magician friend, and he is never fooled by anything ever. However, you have to put the card back into the stack. Some might think that’s a weird thing to justify. I think it’s fine. “Hide it in here. Do you have room in your pocket? Put the whole stack in there.” In that short sentence, the peek is done.

@jefftravilla yeah you have to do the same with the Biz Peek. I’ll have to relook at underlooked. I believe I purchased it at some point.

@ it’ll make you bonk yourself in the head for not thinking of it. It’s kind of like Spidey’s in-the-fist thing but with a full business card.

@jefftravilla thanks man I’m gonna try and remember to check it out after work

Where did you find the business card case? Is the Sharpie holder supposed to look like the carpet of the Overlook Hotel or is it just my imagination?
@ChrisEdwardsMagic25 күн бұрын
I just did a search for business card cases on Amazon :)
