So true about the setting the tone … when I think of the people I have known who dress more “out there” or bold or daring or whatever, it’s just how they dress. It’s just *them* and while you may do a little double take at first, it quickly registers as just normal to your brain. I don’t ever wear red lipstick but I have known women who wear it every single day. They may not even do much else makeup wise, just the bold red lips. Now, to me, to my mind, when I put on red lipstick it’s outrageous. It looks so “LOOK AT ME!!!” to my brain, but on someone else, I notice it the first time or two, and then it’s just *them*. Confidence makes the difference. If you’re comfortable (or at least fake being comfortable until you are comfortable), it’s just as “normal” as wearing sweat pants and a hoodie even if you’re wearing tulle and satin. Just think SJP vibes and own it 🙂❤

Definitely need a puffer still! Aritzia super puffs are fun with all the colors (pretty pricey but soooo warm), a wool trench can work with the right layering/scarves/hats, or even a leather/wool varsity style jacket!
