Thank you so much for going slow enough to be able to follow from the start. So many videos move so quickly that you don't know where the curser was/went that created even the first step, much less the rest, so the viewer is immediately lost.

Great introductory video. I got into Fusion for doing cnc milling but as a life long woodworker it became invaluable for all of the reasons you mention. If I may comment, you probably know that best practice is to use fewer dimensions and more constraints, for example, the lengths of the top and bottom didn't need dimensions, just a colinear constraint which Fusion does automatically. Pretty sure you are also aware that making components rather than bodies offers up more flexibility for moves, copies, assemblies, etc. Love seeing more woodworkers using Fusion, thanks for posting.

I'm obviously on a newer version of F360 so it was a bit of a pain to figure out how to do exactly what you were doing when they've changed some of the interface, but once I figured those out, this was a great first step. Constraints are your friend. Instead of doing the formula for the top and bottom you can constrain those prices the the inside of the sides, so things automatically adjust based on constraints. Also, extrude to object is very nice as well. Also, do components instead of bodies and you can copy components and create a nice cut list easily.

Also, it is not necessary to get in to parameters window for the first time. When you start sketching and write your dimensions make sure that you name them too. For instance you want 39" of width so type width=39. Next time when you sketch something and dimension need to be 39 again. just type your parameter name "With" . All of your naming you will find in parameters window later, when time comes for adjustments.

@jeffreyromero9169 Pretty simple actually! 1. Model the box he shows, how he shows it in the video. 2. Go into Parameters and add "Drawer Count" and set it to any number. Set the unit to NONE. 3. Make a Width_DrawerFace Parameter. Set it to total_width 4. Make a Height_DrawerFace Parameter. Set it to total_height / Drawer Count. ( I think you see where this is going.) Now you have a drawer face that will scale size as you update the drawer_count parameter. But how do we repeat it on the face of the box? RECTANGULAR PATTERN, BABY! 1. Extrude the face of the drawerface sketch away from the body by ply_thickness 2. Select the extruded face, and in the solids, select the Rectangular Pattern tool. 3. Select "axes" in the pattern tool window, and select the Z axis. 4. Set the quantity of the pattern (see where this is going?) to the Drawer_Count parameter. 5. Set the Distance to height_drawerfaces 6. Hit okay. That's it! Now that you know how you scale the drawer face, you can see how the rest of the back-end structure changes, based on how you make the object, etc. Basically it just hinges (heh) on the parameters you feed into Rectangular pattern. Be thoughtful about how you setup parameters, and you can create scalable projects pretty easily. Hope that helps!
