Is that a water-cooled LASER in my hand? There are so many hyper-expensive lab/tech items in this box. Everything is very niche but a $700-800 profit (with low pricing for quick sales) from a $56 investment is great! We already sold one item that covers more than the cost of the box so everything else is profit from this box.
I've been reselling on eBay for 26 years and just started cross-posting on Mercari about a month ago. Sourced lots, garage sales, estate sales, and the occasional storage locker are all part of the process.
Thanks to everyone that's watched and subscribed over the past 5 years - and especially to those that stick around as the topic changes from mostly tie dye to reselling, picking, and more!

I want to know how much you think you can re-sell the items for.

For lab/tech items - If they're new in package/sealed/etc I usually shoot for 80-90% of retail. If they're open but still in very good condition, I go for 60-80% and if they're visibly used, I go for 25-50%. We've already sold the collimation package/fiber patch cable (the lens that was inside the water-cooled box) for $90 -- which completely covers the $56 we paid for the entire box; and, we currently have offers on a lot of the rest of the ThorLab items at about 1/2 retail. Based on previous sales of lab/tech items, I'd guess the total sales from this box will be about $700-$900 and we'll usually accept reasonable offers to move these types of items out quickly versus holding them for 80%+ of retail.
