D6 would of been perfect could of compacted it with the tracks then cut a smooth spot for your compaction test on to the next lift

Not the best assignment for a motor grader. If a grader is all you got I guess you work with it but this ain't the most productive route.

Given the cost of fuel for heavy construction equipment plus the amount the operators are paid, it may have been more cost effective to have one operator and one piece of equipment to do the job than 2 operators and 2 pieces of equipment
