That 308 surprised me few times on the larger trees. Took them down with little effort!.. looking good!.. Ready for part two. Stay safe out there.

Thanks Gary. The 308 surprises me too at times. Working on the next one and it will probably be out tomorrow if I can get it finished up by tomorrow... God Bless, Sam

You left us hanging at the creek 😂 looks like sandy soil, and the 308 is doing pretty good 👍

Well, the creek is a good hang out spot. But you won't catch any fish or crawdads in this one though. 🤣. I'm very pleased with the 308 for sure. I do think about selling it and bumping up to a 313 or something in that size range. But those things are crazy high at the moment... Thanks, Sam

@@tristardiggin yeah, everything is crazy high now. I could have bought a 308e2 like yours for 65-70k during the virus from a cat place that had a few to choose from. I decided I didn't really need one and would wait since it was More of a want. Now they're more expensive! I almost waited on buying my new flatbed Last year. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. I couldn't afford one now!

Hind site you could have bought all those 308s and probably made 10k on each one. That was a good price on them at the time. I would like to find one being parted out with good body parts. The green horn operator that I am has beaten this one to death. And I don't like the way it looks. That's right on yhe flatbed, crazy high nowadays...

Cutting in roads like that are aggravating with no room to put the brush piles. That 308 is a good size for that. Nice job
@tristardiggin2 жыл бұрын
Yup, it was a pain. Only had 50' to work in for the first 1200'. 308 does a good job with that size tree. But like the 309 you had the thumb ears bend out. I have a bush fix for that in the next video. Thanks

Wow what's the slope on that drive? Sometimes it's nice to cut off the machines and enjoy the quietness. Reminds me of Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”

Right, that is very steep in places. Thanks and that is a great verse for that video. God Bless, Sam

Thanks James I appreciate it. Got a few more videos from this job site coming out. Was an interesting job with a lot of different work to do. I do put down some 2" rock for base in some of the areas of the road. The owners plan to do rock in stages as budget allows... Thanks, Sam
