Very good video enjoyed seeing the crusher being feed. Nice set up in the pit. New subscriber.

They seem to be moving the material about more than necessary. Brilliant video though.

It is because the breakdown rate on these machines is very high so if one is broke down the other can still run versus if one breakdown the whole operation is down

Awesome footage awesome, now this is fun stuff. gotta be running road base material?? I like when the wheel loader pick up results and I like when the excavator feeds the crusher

Do some videos on repairs...cone liner or main convayor belt removal and installation

That would be something cool to see. I do pretty much the same exact think they are doing at my pit. Always interested in seeing how other people do it

@@nickerbocker1997 exactly we rented a jaw and cone.....then an impact crusher for a demo job we did... the only problem was we had to do all the repairs....to bad none of us had ever been around crushers before....we learned alot thru google and utube but theres almost no videos on how to string a belt...change the jaw dies....flip blow bars....and the cone liner idk how we did it but it worked...I was glad to see them go....also there HAS to be a better way to change screens....wtf was that bs....we can send machines to Mars but cant make it easy to change screens on earth???? I will stick to yellow equipment it was a good learning experience but man that's ruff work that not a lot of people know how to do.....ever day it was something

@odd maner I agree yes there has to be a better way to change screens haha we got about 6 screeners that we use and they are all a pain to change. I especially hate it when you got some damper wet stuff ur crushing and you gotta stop to pound out the bottom deck because it plugs up. What where y’all making there. In ur other buds of the hard rock crushing looks very very similar to our set up. Breaker, screener, cone crusher, short stacker to send the cone back into the screener.

@@nickerbocker1997 man 6 screeners wow...the job was to demo the Alaskan way viaduct in Seattle....where from California but got sent up there to maintain all the equipment....they made 3 inch minus.....3/4 bace rock....and I think 1/2 clean rock....every bit of the viaduct had to be crushed and reused per Seattle recycling....laws??? Idk but a guy came out to test the material and said we failed....he was fired a week later....then they hired another guy and we past....so ya idk what they where looking for but the new guy "found it" apparently....and ya nothing but rain and mud in Seattle the crusher operators where covered in mud all day

@regancollins14654 жыл бұрын
@@monahan4 that stuff looks like it went through a crusher already. Looks exactly like the stuff that comes off the first discharge belt before it goes to a screener. At least on our crusher. If it does shoot that fine, I'm kind of wondering the quality of the rock.

How long does it take to make your money back on a investment like this ?
Most of the crushing equipment stays at our rock quarry, we make our own materials for our projects, we also operate a concrete batch plant and sell rock to the general public and other contractors.

It’s a TRACKED crusher. There’s absolutely no reason two loaders should be bucketing material. The crusher should’ve been set up in a way that as you load out material the crusher can be backed up. That would’ve saved you two operators pay and the fuel from both the loaders. Your just wasting money.
@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb4 жыл бұрын
Yup, scratching my head at this setup. Heck, why not get 10 more loaders and have each one feed material to another and that way they could all look busy?
@ericstone88124 жыл бұрын
Ya I know but I’m a foreman and all I see is efficiency. If you figure the fuel and operator cost for a 40hr week and multiply that by 2 you will understand my comment isn’t made to belittle, it’s made to help a company cut costs and stay in business.

too much drone work and not enough of the jaws crushing the rock.

What I want know is where is the rock , that's just fines with some lumps!!!!!!! Try putting some Whinstone Basalt in and see how long it lasts!!! Broke two of these plastic Cushers! Cant believe how much Kit you have there! Got more money than sense that is for sure!
@ArthurDentZaphodBeeb4 жыл бұрын
Damn a lot of make-work going on. Why not move the crusher closer to the material rather than using two loaders to feed the excavator? And seems like you could damn near get rid of all three loaders if the crusher was placed in a better location.

That's an expensive feeder. A 320 would been a better choice for as slow as that hopper flows. The quarry could've built-up a ramp to have one of the wheel loaders do the feeding & distribute the crushed stone. Nice video but to me it's cringe worthy to see the under utilization of equipment. The crusher is the one earning it's keep.
