Hmm I use same procedure on all Caterpillar 3500 A,B,C,E and H series cylinder head rebuilding. My passion is to rebuild or major overhaul all Caterpillar diesel and natural gas generator set engines especially at own rebuild shop besides at job site. Alhamdulillah also have hands on experience in Cummins K series engines. I never used lube oil on valve guide before installation. But always freeze or lower the temperature of valve guides and inserts before installation at adequate arrangement in respect of part number and relationship in CAT 😸 and Cummins large bore engines 🇺🇲☺️🇵🇰😉🔧💰
