Those newer paddle wheels are nice, well actually all of the newer equipment is more ergonomic now, they’ve got all the controls on one stick, it’s really cool! ☝️💪👊👍

Cool, I just watched a video by Pushysix today about scrapers and he talked about these paddle scrappers. Never seen one of these around here (Chicago). Are they common by you?
@HeavyMachinesinAction2 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, paddle scrapers are very common but only on smaller grading jobs. Btw no luck yet on the D11.

LOST MORE THAN HE PUTS IN BOX HORRIBLE THINGS PADDLE SCRAPERS.
@shannonmarie2948 ай бұрын
It’s not really the Scraper, it’s the Operator’s! I ran those and 633 D’s both for many years and once it start’s coming over the side’s you’re done!! Time to gradually lift up and get out of there. And no I’m not trying to pick an argument with anybody, just saying is all.. :)

The Cat 623's are garbage. We bought one in early 2020 and have less than 50% uptime. The wheel seals are a nightmare in that they are integrated with the brake and final drives. That's only the start of bad things. This machine is currently at our favorite Cat dealer, Fabick in Cape Girardeau with a broken draft arm. Expect to spend $100K and up for annual maintenance. We use these to mine clay and have 7 Cat 615's which are a workhorses compared to the new junk Cat puts out. We are forced to buy 623's due to our mining layout and of course no one else makes a elevator scraper in this size. Fortunately we bought bumper to bumper warranty on these and the first 10,000 hours racked up over $400K that Cat was forced to pay. It only goes downhill from there. These are built for road grading only.
@rossgray30709 ай бұрын
623s are just the elevator version of the 621, same front end just the elevator to load, don't know if 621s have the same problems.

I agree the k 623 models are junk. They get stuck on wet grass, transmissions self destruct and the aftertreatment systems are constantly having issues.
@guacamoleweiner697 ай бұрын
Sounds like a k model scraper all right Get a g model scraper instead
