For me this song touched me in more ways than one. Loving someone you can’t have and having to let it go to free yourself . I been in solitude lately. I had to walk away from family and friends who never accepted me for who I am. It was always what they wanted me to be. I’m introverted and I just love being alone. I just don’t feel the need to be accepted by a world of people who don’t really care just want to know your business. I miss my grandmother so much. I never had my mom. My dad isn’t capable of caring for me. As a single mother, it’s a struggle. I have so many responsibilities and I just wished I could at least have some parental support. However, I’m breaking the generational curse. I’m an awesome mother to a beautiful young lady. I won’t ever take that for granted, it’s something I didn’t truly have. She deserves that.
