The boom pushes straight back against the pivots. New Holland has bump stops behind the front of the boom relieving pressure off the pivots and distributing the load more evenly around the frame.

I bought a 257D. Rear and side visibility is deplorable. You can wipe your rear end with the backup camera. It can't reach very high or out very far. That said, the MTL rides like a dream. The power is decent. The controls are fast and responsive. The new decelerator option is nice, and the accessibility of the components is the best I've ever seen on any machine ever. These are easy to work on. I think Bobcat makes a better machine, but the overall support you get from Caterpillar is the best in the industry.

Really? I know in the newer diesels trucks the urea systems and cat-converts will reduce exhaust flow.. curious to know more.

i got a 277 tried to boost the battery at -30 celsius there is no room to hook up the negative an absolute pain

Hi Austin! Bluetooth radio with microphone (AM/FM/Weather Band Receiver with USB and auxiliary input jack) is an option on our compact track loaders.

If you want to buy a bear bones skid steer that is not comfortable at all go buy a bob cat. But I will stick with my cat that is just as tough and it is comfortable.
