Angel's backstory is somewhere around. His previous owner didn't take take of him. He stressed out and would pluck feathers from his chest. He's so much better now; if you see older videos, you could see bald patches.

We feed our kitty boy 3 foods, too, for much the same reasons. wet in the morning, dry hairball for lunch, and dry dental for dinner. He likes the dental best of the dry 'cause it's large kibble. We feed him the dry food in a treat ball so he eats it slower and gets a little exercise with a prey/reward type system. He will whack his empty ball into the stove when he is hungry and it's not yet meal time. Very cool book. I love books and stuff on behind the scenes. In Canada, every item in the grocery store comes with a language lesson ;-)

I'm 40, so I remember the first wave of ninja turtles. My mum wouldn't ever let me have boys toys. I use to be so jealous of my boy cousins and loved playing with their ninja turtles, he-man, transformers, micro cars and Lego!! Use to get out of bed first thing on a Saturday morning to watch all the boys cartoons before my mum got up. It amazes when I think about how much the world has changed. My kids played with whatever they wanted. My son would run around in his sisters dress up shoes wearing a tutu and my daughter would sit and play with cars and construction toys. I guess I experienced the downside of being an only child. Never really thought about it like this until now. Thank you Jackie.

I can remember when TMNT first came out as a cartoon in Australia , I was in primary school and sadly all talk or anything else of it was banned ( it was a catholic school so that might explain it). It makes me laugh now because one of the things that was mentioned in the banning was the boys underwear with TMNT images on them.

I have a 12 year old cat that was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago and he hasn't had dry cat food since. He can only have wet cat food (or home made) that has less then 7g's carbohydrates. The problem is that he gets to where he doesn't like a particular flavor now and then and I've had to add canned tuna in water (and rinsing it because of the sodium) to get him to eat. He is also allergic to salmon, his favorite, of course! So, finding what your loved furry baby can eat isn't always easy and can get expensive. Definitely into custard!

We get the Acana here in the US and that is mainly the only dry food I feed my 3 kitties. Love it! Then of couse I get random wet canned. I am more custard lover too. 😋

I rotate my pups food since different foods have different levels of nutrients. Grain makes my dog sick whether its in his wet or dry food. He gets a rotation of 3 different kinds of grain free dry foods and 2 kinds of wet food so he doesn't get bored. I have a picky puppy lol, he won't eat dry food if its been open for more than a week so my neighbours dogs get lots of spare food since my pup doesn't eat much(100 grams of dry and a tin of wet food per day) and bags are so big. I don't mind because he's my everything and he's the trouble of the house lol.

In case you're interested: The catfood with kangaroo (and other exotic meats) is important for cats with allergies. My cat for example is allergic to local animals' protein. The more exotic animals apparently have different proteins (according to my vet), which is why my cat can eat those without getting an allergic reaction.

We use Kangaroo meat in a lot of things here in Aus. We eat it and also put it in pet food. Very gamy and tricky to cook, can be very chewy if you over or under cook. Good red meat though.

Saying about corn making your cats sick made me thing about the fact one of our cats does too, but she loves corn... Wheat also causes one of our other cats to have anxiety and she licks all her fur off due to stress... The change in diet we gave them to be all natural helped them and our last cat get so much happier and healthier

Your glasses are super cute! I usually have to water down the wet food I give to my cat (Fondue) too, because that's the way he likes it. omg I LOVE Pho! (it's Fah? I thought it was Fuh!) I am lucky enough to have a small Vietnamese place nearby that has it. My friends and I usually try to make a tradition of going out for Pho too on the last day of our Breyerfest/Kentucky trip that happens in July. Well, for those of us that didn't know b4 we now know that you like pho, but how do you feel about bun? Its like pho minus the broth. Most places that sell pho should have it. I usually get the bun with grilled pork or beef, and fried spring rolls (aka Vietnamese egg rolls)

It's fun seeing the ninja turtles stuff as I first came across them as the pen and paper role playing game in my early teens - I didn't even know they were a comic then. I remember going to the US in the mid 90's (I'm a Brit) and wandering around toy shops trying to find the figures for my nephews who were into the cartoon version then. It seemed so strange that this nerdy game my friends and I used to play was now this mega-thing that was so popular, but very cool how it grew from there. And if you're ever over on these shores, heck yes for a meet up!

The best advice to give you is to feed kitties with the best food you can afford. You will save a lot on litter! Also, move the water dish away from the food dishes. I have no idea why, but my cats are drinking more, using one big, communal (doggy) dish. I have that first cat tower, but in beige. It's at least 6' tall and I admit it is a little tough for 5' me to clean the top places.

One of my male cats has urinary issues. I started giving him wet food more to help. He had a bout of urethral spasm that blocked him up. Almost died 😥😭 Now he has hunting game time along with food and environment modifications to help him relax

My favorite of hers was this artist (can't remember his) who would hide his signature somewhere in his paintings. It was great fun trying to it. I'm not sure that's how bill 101 works. We have plenty of shops with English names (EB Games and Best Buy come to mind and Chatime is half Chinese, half English). I think some brands have different names depending on the country. Like EB Games and GameStop are pretty much the same thing, except one is in Canada and the other is in the USA. On another note, I'm such a sucker for the 2004 TMNT. I grew up with those and they have a special place in my heart. I love artbooks so much for all the small details and notes you can find and the skeeeeetches!! And I got so excited when you said meetup... Only to be saddened you were talking about Japan xD. But that's understandably. Hope you'll meet some grains there if you get the chance. Also, more unboxing is good! My October box is stuck at the post office and I can't get it until Tuesday, I'm dying.
