I have. My cat had a stroke and suddenly didn't know where he was. He was terrified and ran and hid in the basement. He was like a different cat. It's like his memory was gone. He even had to be retrained to use the litter box. But luckily he eventually adjusted and lived many more years happy and with no lasting affect besides maybe his expression looking different. This video immediately made me think something like that happened to this cat but the explanation they gave makes sense.
