If you click the arrow on the different types of cannons you can switch what you upgrade for passive upgrades that you can equip which provides passive bonuses (like decreased damage from red or decreased damage from surges). These upgrades are the ones that require your new z materials

Please focus a bit more on upgrading your cat cannons, especially thunderbolt and holy blast, at higher levels they can make a massive difference when doing stages. Also using your z materials on you curse base to level 20 will make crowned relics a lot easier with that 15% damage reduction.

In the last episode you got a new legend rare! Doom engine pandora is the best anti-zombie in the game. Its super slow, which is actually good since it’ll lurk at your base so that burrowing zombies can’t just skip your defenses. Even if DEP does move past your base, it has omni strike so it can damage zombies in front and behind him. He has resistance and damage boosts agains zombies so he can tank and do a crazy amount of damage. PS. He also has wave blocker but it’s not as useful as his other niche.

@@shannonhoward4792 you are comparing an uber set made uniquely to counter one trait and suck at everything else to a rare cat who has a decent niche and can work in a variety of stages. Psycocat single target severely hurts him. Seafarer has a completely different niche same for cattelite he isn't gonna be there to do damage but to stall enemies. Catarzan is a pretty decent midranger for aliens and works really nicely.

@@TheUmbraN0tG4ming Catarzan isnt F tier, but he is far from usable. Even Macho legs outperforms him in the alien niche. Also saying seafarer has a different niche isn't quite right. While it has cc abilities it's still a capable dps unit. At best Catarzan can supplement one of these two, but realistically you would just use the other two and leave Tarzan out. Not even mentioning chill exists for as a simple nuke.

The Z materials are for the Base foundation and Base Decor. Previously only the cannon head did anything different but now each Foundation and each Decor gives you a specific ability Resistance like Surge Resist and Resistance to a certain Trait. When you checked out the slow beam you didnt see any of the foundations or the decors bruh

Idea for future cyclone stages: Lasvoss them out of existence with a savage blow Also you should use Hayabusa in the base from, it's a really good unit for critical hits with a not so long cooldown for an Uber

Click the left and right arrows to do the OTHER base upgrades like the Style and Base, the Z materials is not used for the cannons but instead for the Style and Base, upgrading the Style And Base can make Zombie,Alien,Red,Black,Floating,Relic and Angel enemys be weaker, and also lowers damage and effects like Slow, Freeze, Weaken. Curse, Knockback, Wave, Surge be lesd effective/ do less damage

​​​​​​​@@Jakeernueok. First, gather up any useful anti-floating gacha. (All examples: Monk, Butterfly, Delinquent, Necromancer, Kotatsu, Commando, Fisherman, Cupid, Magica, and Avalokitesvara). I typed them in 2nd form because you NEED 2nd form. If you ever manage to get an uber, bring them too (obviously) I advise 3 of the items I listed. Monk will repeatedly slow bun bun, Avalokitesvara has a long cooldown, but has effective slows, Commando is tanky, has boosted damage, and a chance survive, Cupid may not have that much health, but can unleash big damage to bun bun. Butterfly has insane levels of damage to bun bun, Fisherman is a spammable unit that can knock back floating and stall bun bun. If you can trap bun bun at his base, then it is practically an automatic win, Magica has a slow attack, but can inflict a big weaken onto bun bun for a short time, Kotatsu is a sheer tank that can give you a bit of time to breathe and can weaken bun bun if you get lucky. Necromancer is spammable but doesn't have the most powerful freeze, and Delinquent has a big price, long cooldown, but can get lots of freezes stacked if defended wisely (with kotatsu). Using any items are worthless from bun bun waiting for you to hit the base. Don't use cat god. Only revive if you see a 20% HP or less on bun bun. For your meatshields, use boogie (a cat food cost special rare), macho cat, and wall cat. Meat shields are units you spam to protect your stronger forces. For your generalists, I would say monk, commando, whale, and mythical titan. Generalists are units a bit more expensive than meatshields and serve a purpose of swarming enemies and/or tanking them no matter their trait. For specialists, I'd use delinquent, butterfly, fisherman, cupid, and necromancer. Specialists are units you put on your lineup to counter a specific enemy/trait in a level. For your case, bun bun. Lastly, for backliners, I would put in avalokitesvara, dragon, and S. legs. Backliners are units that stand behind your generalists and meatshields, that provide a strong supportive fire. If you stack a large array of dragons (20 or so) they can actually knock back bun bun with every few stack attacks, but you must make sure that bun bun doesn't get to them. I should've mentioned this earlier, but you should get every gold treasure throughout EOC to get the highest possible stats for your units. Cat combos have no use, because you can't have any units just be combo slaves in your lineup. Combo slaves are units you put in your front row that make weak stat boosts for your entire team. By now, you will only have 2 slot size combos, which 99% of 2 slot size combos are useless. Just stick with your 4 classes of cats and stick with my suggestions and you will be fine. There is a 6th class called super-backliner, the only non uber super-backliner is hacker cat, which is only useful in true form, where you have to beat this stage to unlock true forms. Super-backliners sit hundreds of range behind your front line and occasionally unleash supportive effects. If you want to be on the safe side, bring more than 3 of the anti-floating gachas I listed. If you don't even have 3, keep your chin up and try to do some grinding on special stages/collabs to get the XP and rare tickets to get them to level 20. If one combination of anti floating units doesn't work, use a different few. Just make sure not to use too many of them so you actually can get to bun bun. The order of the gachas I suggest here are... 1. Monk 2. Butterfly 3. Necromancer 4. Kotatsu 5. Commando 6. Fisherman 7. Delinquent 8. Cupid 9. Avalokitesvara 10. Magica TLDR: Just use the ranking above to determine which gacha to bring. I do advise to read the message for more info. Important Extra info: I ubercarried through this stage, but I have played The Battle Cats for a long time, so take my advice with a pinch of salt. If you just cannot get the 10 units, there are some other units you can use that are pretty powerful. Paris is a spammable expensive backliner that stands at the same point as dragon. Artist is tanky and has a rapid attack speed with powerful DPS. Ring girl is a backliner with immense area power and multiple knockbacks to reposition. Fried Shrimp is a generalist that is one of the most tanky super rares if not the most. But behind Kotatsu because of Kotatsu's resist. Fried Shrimp does have red resist if you are interested. Ebisu is a limited backliner that only shows up on certain banners, being a pseudo uber. He can weaken, freeze, slow, and knockback per hit. He is just a gambling machine, but can strike gold if you are lucky. Masai is a spammable generalist that is practically just a normal meatshield, but with a survive. Would not suggest. Sword Master is a spammable generalist that contains tons of rushing power, but burns out soon after you beat EOC CH3. Medalist is a rusher backliner that hits with strong force, but misses if enemies are too close.

Matt, I really want to see you get some usage out of mighty crystal muu. It is supposed to sit by your base and snare burrowing zombies with it being the slowest cat in the game. It is practically the best anti-zombie AND has a lot of HP outside of it's anti trait. Muu would carry lots of force and shielding if you used him on the alien / zombie level. He carried me through most COTC outbreaks. Plus, he has wave block, and as you mention, his pixels are beautiful. For the cyclone stage, sanzo could hard carry because sanzo costs less, has more range, and his slows are more effective. You should not invest into fishman slow because of sanzo.
