90% of these comments are jokes, what this owners cat has is called: Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy or, he has a sleeping disorder. I study cats, and i know what it has. This is how it works: When a cat has Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy, when it has a seizure, the brain of the cat is out of control that leads to it attacking any object near the place it is having the seizure, the cat does no mean to attack, its something in the brain that controls its actions. Not all cats have FIE (Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy) they usually get it when the brains tissues are damaged or, if you have an elder cat it could happen by low blood pressure or starving brain cells of o2 ( Oxygen ) Ask me some other questions about cats and i will be sure to respond to you ASAP. My cat has seizures before. And then one day, we realized the way she walked was a bit weird so we just thought that she fell from somewhere. Then the seizures gets more often and now she can hardly walk as if she's becoming paralysed. Why is that happening we're so confused

You can tell the cat loves the owner a lot and depends on her a lot too because of the seizures that he has, he must be so scared that he tries to find comfort by sleeping closer with his owner and feels safe by her presence. Especially when he was left alone in that small room, he must've felt lonely and afraid and suffocating. And when they tried to put him in the cage, he doesn't want to be away from her and the cage might give him anxiety since he moves a lot during the seizure he could get hurt.

This cat is a really sweet cat. The fact that the cat comes to cuddle with the girl every night shows that it truly cares about her and likes her company! Same goes to the girl. She could have abandoned this cat years ago, give it to somebody else or throw it into the streets like some maniacs do. And yet, she still shows so much love for this cat, and let's the cat sleep with her even if it means she will wake up with cuts on her face. They are both amazing, and I wish them the best!

He doesn't attack, when they have seizures their claws, arms, and feet stiffen up and they tend to try to grip things. If this woman had carpet on the floor in that scene, the cat would've been skating around on the carpet because when they seize up they grip and make a running motion with their paws and feet uncontrollably. I have a cat that is epileptic. One night he ran himself straight into a wall so hard even though he was laying down on his side, because his grip on the carpet. I don't get why she does get a separate cat bed. Often when a cat has a major seizure it loses control of its bowels. Beyond hurting herself the cat could also fall from the top of the bed and during a seize, they can't land on their feet.

I know she loves the cat but he’s dangerous and will blind her or severely injure her in some other way that could even be worse. He sleeps on her neck. With someone who suffers from night terrors, this poor kitty seems to be showing signs of it. The poor thing might classify something has a traumatic experience and even sleeping it’s worse fears come to life. I’m not sure what they can do for a cat If that’s what it is. Maybe that feline calming spray you can get at the vets, soothing classical music, maybe keep a video of birds for it to watch. Just something that may relax it so while it sleeps it doesn’t end up in the terror state. Hope he and the owner get better soon.

Some of these nature substances don't really work. It's why we made medicines. Some were used for animals first and we discovered they work for humans too. I hope what even is used it helps the cat sleep. I have never seen a cat sleep jump like that and I had 3 growing up. Miss them all. Especially the middle cat she was 18.

I have a dog who has pretty bad anxiety and kept getting into our bathrooms and chewing toilet paper, carpet, and other things up because of his anxiety. We soon got another dog and she helped him so much. He now doesn’t go into our bathrooms and doesn’t chew anything up anymore. Then we got another dog! We now have 2 dogs to help him. Now all my newest two dogs do is chew on him 😅 haha

My cat has seizures since he was 6 weeks old. It's not easy. It's painful, disorienting and messy for the cat. They might defecate themselves during the process, foam at the mouth and become aggressive because they will temporarily lose their sight and become terrified and attack out of pain and fear. I had tried some seizure meds but they cause damage to the kidneys and won't guarantee a long life but I found an all natural solution that works for him. And despite losing his eyesight he's doing great.

@Helen Castillo the cat gets seizures when he sleeps. someone said it was called Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy. The cat cant control himself bc of the seizure and attacks anything near him. he doesnt mean to hurt anyone but he cant control it bc its something to do with his brain.

Its just so strange to me that people never say bad things about dogs when they attack people or children its always the cat that is the bad one , I have been attacked by to dogs in my life , one as a child and the other time as a young women for no reason , but I have never been attacked by a cat , but the cat in this video has real problems and should have special help like treatment , but saying that its the humans which are scum of the earth and not animals ,a lot of people are not for cats ,well I am not a dog person , does not mean I would be cruel to a dog because I never would be , so there is no need to be cruel to mad cat just because it has behaver issues like some people do.

The fact is, the kitten loves her a lot, he doesn't do it because he wants to, on purpose. I get the feeling he even feels guilty. And how much love this woman has for him, how long this situation, but she hasn't walked away from him, she has a lot of understanding and love. She knows her pet is suffering. Stress was not the issue, i think it was because low oxygen levels, because it can cause FIE (Feline Idiopathic Epilepsy)

He most likely needs melatonin. I saw this exact problem with a cat who lacked melatonin (a hormone that is produced by our body at night in complete darkness/pitch black) and after they discovered he needed melatonin the problem was solved by giving him melatonin regularly 🥰

Mon chat souffrait de crises d'épilepsie. Lorsque cela lui arrivait, il ne reconnaissait plus, ni les gens ni l'endroit où il vivait. Il fallait absolument le laisser tranquille sinon on pouvait subir une violente attaque.
