Nico is lovely but he isn't babysitting. He wants to play, which is understandable as he is young, but the babies aren't toys, nor are they old enough to play fight. He needs to be kept away from the kittens until they are older. Also Lili needs peace while nursing. Give Nico toys to play with please and keep him away from the kittens

Now Nico is starting to be aggressive with Lili biting her while she's trying to rest with her babies, But she can't because Nico is doing to much playing around. Nico is a boy And is still a kitten And still looks to be nurtured, But for some reason he doesn't want it from his own mom, And Kiki Is a lovable mom to Nico, But Ever since Lili gave birth to her babies Nico has been looking at Lili as a mother more than his own momma Kiki.

It might seem a good thing to have Nico around Mama Lili and her new kittens, but I think the time has come to evict him from the nest box for good. For one, his aggressive playing with Lili is stopping her from resting, which she needs to do to maintain her health whilst she is caring for her new kittens. For another, he has clearly decided that the kittens are some kind of new toy, and his play with them is far too rough. If he isn't removed and barred from the nest box, he may end up injuring one of them... incurring not only vets' bills for treating the injured kitten, but a whole load of guilt for not keeping him away from them in the first place!

Nico is being naughty cause he hasn’t been around kittens before so he doesn’t have that “mother” instinct that the girls have. He just needs to be picked up and moved out of the box when he gets into his frisky “wrestling” mode. I think if he was doing that and the kittens weren’t around, Lilli would give him a good bite/scolding to get him to cool it down. But since she’s got the babies she’s probably trying to stay calm for them, and let Nico get away with it. When the kitten cried out that loud, I bet he bit one of them playfully, cause he just sees them as curious toys like a live mouse. I loved when Charo stood up to watch him then immediately looked at Lilli like “Ugh, Oh, you’re in trouble now Nico! Here comes Aunt Lil!!” 🤣😂🥰

I do think you need to keep a closer eye on Nico. I know that he loves the kittens and his aunt Lili, but he doesn’t know his own strength. That kitten cried in pain when Nico got too rough, and he does try to rough house with Lili when she’s trying to nurse.

These kitties are sweet, intelligent & trainable...It is a privilege for anyone other than Mum & babies to be in the nursing, sacred space of the whelping box/pen. That cheeky, wrestling, playful behaviour from dear Nico is not appropriate behaviour in that space. Nico is intelligent & needing guidance & to know some boundaries, the rules for being in that whelping box. (the person suggests picking Nico by the neck...do that for Kiki as Nico too big for her to do that to Nico now or alternatively better still prevent it from happening by training that playtime is outside the box with Nico's 'peers'...eg little cat-ling Charo) He's taking advantage & misbehaving when he is a surprise package like that. Especially when Lilli is vulnerable...'a bull in a china shop' so to speak...creating confusion in the kitties & possible trauma & mis-cueing as they don't know what's going on & who's who...Love, Peace needs to reign in that whelping box...🙏🏽🕊

Trochę źle mi się ogląda kochonego Nico, który tarmosi coraz częściej, bez wyczucia maleństwo, które nie wie co się dzieje i nawet jeszcze nie widzi..... Rozumiem Nicusia, bo to też jeszcze małe kocie, chce się jeszcze bawić. W adorowani Lili jest naprawdę niesamowity i kochany !!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Dobrze by było, gdyby Pan widząc taką akcię Nicusia - w jakiś łagodny, ale konkretny, zdecydowany sposób mu tego zabronił, on to zrozumie, koty są naprawdę rozumne i inteligentne!!! Mój lekarz weterynarz (mam dwa kochane kociusie) pokazał mi sposób na kotki, gdy są niegrzeczne, otóż należy złapać go od góry za skórę na karku, tak by to poczuł jako dyskomfort, ale tak by nie zrobić mu krzywdy. Tę czynność miałam konsekwentnie powtarzać aż kicia zrozumie. Ważne - robimy to tylko i wyłącznie w danej chwili, gdy kotek to robi. Tak właśnie karci swoje dziecko kocia mama. Czasem może wystarczy pogrożenie mu w danej chwili, np. wziąć go i dostawić do kotka, pogrozić palcem, powiedzieć, że tak niewolno robić! Naprawdę koty ta zrozumią, może nie natychmiast, ale nasza konsekwencja daje naprawdę super rezultaty.🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 Może Pan to już wie i robi, nie chciałam Pana pouczać,ale sama chętnie przyjmuję od innych takie wskazówki, dlatego odważyłam się to napisać. She rushed in to take a closer look and found, to her relief but also disappointment, that she was mistaken. They were a shade darker and smelled different and so definitely not her babies, but how she wished they were. She missed them so.
