Well, Megumin is voiced by Erica Mendez. While she, and Karbowski have done male characters such as Gon for Erica, and Blackstar for Karbowski, they do have some differences. Like Mendez playing someone like Ayaka from Genshin sounds different than Karbowski playing someone like Hisako from Food Wars. It's something of a sound difference between the two. But both of them are good at what they do.

Yes, although what happened to Arnes is far from great, is not something for what she should kill someone. In fact I believe she lucked out because is very likely there's magical artifacts with worse side effects. Just look at Kazuma who got a choker that was choking him until he got his deepest wish fulfilled. And is safe to assume it was from Meg's dad due to Wiz being her main and regular customer. At least she's is helping to keep Komekko well fed.
