Subin Park 다 까칠하진 않고 고양이들마다 성격이 다 다르더라구요ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 웬만하면 새끼 때부터 키우면 애교 진짜 많아요. 가끔 시크한 모습 보여주고 애교는 많이 부리고.. 그러면서도 개에 비하면 사고는 덜 쳐요ㅋㅋㅋ 그 대신 개는 그만큼 더 밝고 활발하고 듬직하죠. 각각 장단점이 있는 듯 해요

Honestly, I really love both animals. I always wanted a dog, but dogs are much harder to take care of. U really should be a 'home-body' if you want to have a dog, as they constantly have to be bathed, taken outside to go to the bathroom, and be walked (and I'm not). However, cats bathe themselves, go to the bathroom in their litter/pellet box, clean themselves, and don't need you to walk them. And my cat greets me every day at my front door when I get home from work, caressing my legs and 'meowing! She also follows me everywhere I go in my house and loves to cuddle. She's the sweetest cat! So although I love dogs too, cats win for me!!!

I’ve had about 18 dogs in my life time (I’m 20 but we had 3 or 4 dogs at once). I agree with most of the stuff you say! But the homebody thing isn’t required. Dogs LOVE adventures. They love going to the store, the park, anyone else’s house. They love going places with you. I think you mean that “You have to be willing to have the dog always with you”. I agree! It’s like raising a child. Certain breeds can be low maintenance and only need baths once a month, or even less! The only con I would say to having a dog over a cat is that they eat more 😅. But I think they give way more friendship and companionship. I’ve never owned cats, but any cat I’ve encountered avoided me at all costs 😂. They also claw you when you hold them or bite you even after they just start to purr lolllll.

HannSandwich that's true. It depends on how active you are & if u want/are willing to take your dog everywhere with u. However, I will say having a dog as a pet in Korea is wayyyy harder than a cat bc of transportation, lack of nature in the cities/no trees or plants, and just culture in general. But I completely disagree with u about clawing you or biting you for no reason. U probably did something you shouldn't have. The only times I've had cats bite me was when they are playing, but dogs do that too. But they do claw everything, just like puppies and dogs chew everything. It's a trade off. Ha

Sarah Kupka lol true! I wasn’t talking about in Korea. I only know experience from living in Rural Ohio haha. As for the cat biting thing, I don’t believe I did anything wrong. All I did was stroke it’s back 😂. It was purring when I pet it then it turned around and bit me. What’s worse is that I got Cat scratch fever because I’m really allergic 😅. But it doesn’t matter! Dogs need walks or a good place to run and walk around, but honestly, the same actually applies to cats. Maybe you don't need to go on walks with them, but it certainly wouldn't hurt. Teaching a cat to walk in a leash is just beneficial. It sure beats people just leaving their cats outside for most of the day like they do where I live. A cat killed and ate fish from our pond, a koi. For anyone who doesn't know much about fish, they can be really expensive. The ones in the pond weren't very expensive because they were fairly young, but still significantly more expensive than other fish. The cat owner doesn't even have to take responsibility for them, even if they happen to attack someone like what happened to me once. A cat followed me around, then suddenly decided to scratch and bite me, despite me not doing anything. If a dog had done the same thing, it would've been killed. I don't dislike cats though, but I do have to say that I'm quite biased due to irresponsible owners and the difference in responsibility when it comes to our pets. I'd never blame a pet, but I'd certainly blame the owner of the pet. I do have to agree with what HannSandwich said though, you don't need to be a homebody. You need to actually do more though. Even if you potty train a dog, it still needs to go for walks in order to keep the body in shape. However, so do you. So I don't see a problem in needing to go for walks.

dogs used to be my favorite as a kid as they're very fun to play with, but then I got a cat when I was 14. I raised him for many many years and now I like dogs but don't care to own them. They are so energetic and require lots of care. I think not letting dogs get enough exercise is just another kind of abuse so I feel bad to raise one in my tiny apartment when I don't want to walk it very much. cats are quieter and still affectionate, but I don't have to worry about leaving them home alone all day. For me, who is a quiet, low energy, and introverted person, just having another breathing creature in the same room as me is companionship enough

고양이와 개를 둘다키우는 1인이로서.. 강아지랑고양이 둘다 밖에서 키우면 강아지는 돌아오지만 개장수가 가져가는 일이 종종생기는걸 봤고요 고양이는 마실나갔다 오는데 며칠 안오면 고양이는 자유를 찾으러 언젠간 떠난다고 해요((예외있어요)) 집에서 키우면 고양이는 털이 많이빠지는 반면에 햇빛이드는 창문있는곳이면 고양이 키우는데 최고인 곳이에요 그치만 애교가 별로없는게 다수지만요ㅎㅎ 고양이 씻길때 겁내는분이 몇분있는데요! 고양이는 잘안씻겨도 되지만 씻기실때 억지로 잡고 씻기는건 안좋아요..! 개.고양이들은 주인을 공격을 안하지만 겁을먹거나 적이라고생각하면 공격을 합니다! 그러므로 고양이는 샤워부스이안에서 혼자 살려주세요!!냐옹!!이러면서 벽을 잡고있을때 씻기는게 좋아요! 샤워부스가 없다면..물을 좋아하게 만들수밖에.. 강아지는 털이 빠지는아이들이 있고요 강아지는 짖어서 시끄러울수있는 단점은 있지만 애교가 많은것이 다수에요! 강아지는 씻겨야되는것도 단점이에요ㅠ 진한색종류 강아지들은 2주에 1번씩 연한색종류 강아지들은 1주에 1번씩 이 좋은거 같아요! 씻기는것도 고양이랑 비슷한데 강아지는 고양이에 비해 씻기기 쉬운거 같습니다!!강아지들은 어디든 잘사는거같아욯 산책해야 스트레스는잘 안받아요! 하핳 지금까지 보는 결과..! 자취하고 바쁘신분은 고양이를! 자취하시지만 여유가 약간씩 있는분은 강아지를 추천해드려요! 귀차니즘있는분들이나 사회가 힘든분들이 많은 요즘시대는 고양이를 추천드려요! 하지만 고양이와 강아지를 두마리다 어릴때부터키우시면 둘이 잘지내고 강아지는 외로움을타서 스트레스를 받지만 고양이와 같이 키우면 강아지를 고양이가 케어해주는? 그런점도 있는거 같아요!! *그치만* 강아지든 고양이든 자기한테 맞춰서 입양하시고! *절대* 버리시면 안돼니!! 꼭 생각하시고 결정하세요!!

my cat is an indoor cat but she demands to go outside (i also take her on small walks with a leash like a dog) and she welcomes me home like a dog and fetches like a dog 😂 she also know tricks to lay down when she's about to get a treat xD sometimes i think my cat IS a dog or is possessed by a dog xD but she dislike dogs 😂
