I kind of understand the cats' reaction here. Imagine that you're relaxing on the sofa. Suddenly, you hear an unfamiliar voice shout "Hyaaa underpants climbing purple!" or something to that effect. I would have been somewhat apprehensive about that situation, to put it mildly.

I remember once in the house I grew up in, we had a sliding glass door to the back yard My brother had found one of those beauticians practice heads for applying make up or something. A fake head in any case. So anyways, he goes outside through the front door and got it out of the car and brought it to the sliding door then called our dog. We had a tiled floor in that room. The dog heard his call and went running to greet him. He got almost to the door when my brother rolled the head across the floor. That poor dog spent 2 minutes trying to get out of the room but couldnt get traction, just peeling out the whole way. When he got to the carpet, he bolted to the other end of the house and was barking from there, and wouldnt come out. It took my brother 15 minutes to convince him the head was not real. 😂
