Another way, possibly the best way, to add a stroke to layers is using 'Layer Styles' > 'Stroke'. You can right click on the layer and choose Layer Styles or go up the top bar a click layer and get to it from there. I just learned about this so I haven't used it too much, but so far it seems to be a much better way than I used in this video. It lets you choose where you want the stroke (outside, inside, or in the middle)

I will be making another in the near future, I promise. Two ideas so far: take chess games/a chess notation file and turn it into an animation. Take live golf scores and turn it into an animated leaderboard. If you got any ideas I'd like to hear them
