My Lovebird , Mercurio, cannot go out today because of the cold and rain. He loves being in his cage on my deck to be with the birds visiting the bird feeders. Listening to this is keeping him chirping and happy inside and he is not picking his feathers from boredom. Thank you so much for your dedication. Our cat is convinced the brown squirrel is an immediate, existential threat. Personally, the hooman has enjoyed watching the squirrel politics between the brown and dark grey/black squirrel. Plucky little brown is quite the scrapper. Your backyard is lovely.

Of all the hundreds of different long form, dog or cat, anti-anxiety type videos my 2 pitbull have seen on you tube, this is the only one that they actually watch and stay invested in. I watch it with them sometimes. It can be a bit mesmerizing. Relaxing and hilarious! During some parts I just kept thinking of old looney toons cartoons. Like watching Sylvester chasing after Slowpoke Rodriguez or something else from that Tex Avery/Mel Blanc golden era of American animation.

i may be late but my kitties love this! usually my cat (lion) jumps off of my bed when im on my phone but when this is on he comes straight to me. on the other hand, my other cat (milo) watches this before he falls asleep. it also entertains me for some reason xD. thanks, love it😻

your European starling at the start of your video is a breeding female (with its pink-tipped bill). The breeding male would have had a blue-tipped bill. These are great field marks to check for during this time of the year (about January to early August). Non-breeding European starlings do not have any yellow bills, but a greyish bill instead and more silvery-tipped glossy black feathers all over its body. :)

My two cats are watching this right now. I guess the fruit must just be for show only since birds and Squirrels like fruit cut up into tiny pieces. 😉 note: cracking the hard nuts a little bit beforehand, makes it easier for squirrels to get into and they'll get to enjoy them sooner, rather than burying them and waiting for shells to soften.
