Reminds me of this one house that I delivered newspapers to. The old woman had an elderly cat and when i'd put the paper through her mail slot, I'd feel a bap bap, so I'd wiggle my fingers and get bapped more. The old lady said that her cat looked forward to that every day. Sadly, both the cat and the old lady have since passed on.

She might be! She looks like a kitten just entering adulthood here. So she'd be like 14/15 years old, which is quite young for a cat. They regularly live into their 20s. My kitty is 15 years old sleeping on her bed rn as we speak :)
