Cats are so incredibly easy to train. I can’t stand trying to train dogs. I’ve never used a clicker, just treats. It’s super useful, I encourage everyone to train their cats. At the very least to teach them to lay and sit. They end up being patient and won’t beg. These two wait their turns for treats. He trained himself to sit just by watching her. My last cat…my everything…he knew all sorts of things, but he had to take an inhaler for his asthma. He knew how to lay before he was diagnosed but it made it so incredibly easy with him already being trained for me to start giving it to him. All the other tricks are useless and just for fun. It literally takes under an hour to teach a cat something and they will never forget it. Dogs you have to spend forever trying to teach them things and they forget them too. She’s half blind and pretty stupid as far as cats go but it still wasn’t difficult at all. You have to bond with whatever animals you have. Ignore a dog constantly, just let it outside and don’t walk it, it isn’t going to be constantly affectionate either. I’ve never had a cat that doesn’t constantly want love. The three cats I’ve had, I don’t count the amazing one that was dying when I got him, would/do jump on my back/shoulders and no training was required. I’m sitting here now with both of them on my lap. =^.^= Give love and you’ll get it back.

They did it themselves but I encouraged it. No treats or clicker. Just cuddles and love. So everytime when 1 of them, especially the one obsessed to be in my room. He has to jump on my shoulder from the ground, or crawl over my shoulder from the speaker, to be able to come into my room. When he doesn't get his way..he meows and tries opening my door.

@@Tyler-hk4wo You didn’t read my comment, or you didn’t understand what I was saying. Breeding for strength, stamina and whatnot is not the same as breeding for domestication. Domestication entails obedience and the elimination of many instincts. To my knowledge, slaves were not bred *specifically* for domestication as much as they were for strength and whatnot. And even if they were, they never reached their desired aim given that slavery didn’t last for enough generations for them to do so. Also, I didn’t mention this in my first comment but another reason why you can’t compare pets and humans slaves is because slaves were routinely forced to work under inhospitable conditions and tortured by their masters. Not exactly the same as a domestic cat that is fed plenty, is safe and can run around in the wild everyday.

@raerohan4241
@raerohan4241 8 ай бұрын
@@_sillew It's not primitive vs modern, it's just what has been historically required of the breed. E.g. Huskies aren't a new breed, yet they have minds of their own. That is because, rather than being bred to be able to train to pull sleds, they were bred to love running. Sledding requires minimal input, so they didn't need to be super obedient - as long as you could train them so they knew "follow these few commands and you can run as you like", that's all that was needed

(I found her when she was around 2 weeks. [Momma cat was hit by a car and other kittens didn't make it, I tried. So before ppl get mad about separating a young kitten from her mom]) Any who soft paws, (retract claws immediately). shoulder tap/ "parrot" for her to jump on my shoulders. Fetch, stay, hide,follow, and my favorite "bedtime" where she lays on my chest I put the blanket over both of us and we go to sleep. Cats are just extordinary.

I found my cat in the woods behind my house all by himself before his eyes were even open, I left food for mom but after about 12 hours she never came and it was cold out so I took him in. I ended up bottle feeding him and all that, so he's extremely attached to me and likes to be near me 24/7 when I'm at home. He's also always loved being either on my shoulders or inside my shirt. One day I leaned back a little bit and tapped on my chest trying to get him to jump up and he did. Only took about 1 minute before he jumped up into my arms and then climbed up onto my shoulders. Obviously all animals are different, especially cats, so I guess I just got lucky with my current cat. Because I've had 7 cats so far in my life and honestly none of them have even been 25% as sweet and affectionate as the little dude I have right now. I have the feeling that he's probably one of those once in a lifetime cats!

Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future..
