Wow man, this is one of the best, most intense, and most powerful short films I’ve seen in a long time. Perfect and masterful storytelling, very well dosed. Photography is nearly perfect, with gorgeous editing and grading. Discrete, non-obtrusive soundtrack. The offscreen story is well written, not too cheezy but to the point romantic, a real life story. Well done! Enjoyed this really a lot, hell, it did move me quite a bit as I could relate to the story!

@@carlotonda1955 Just watched your breakdown. Very smart on planning out your time of day. It took me a while to understand how to time the sun. It is amazing how a $30 dollar reflector can make or break the shot! Keep up the great work.

Couldn't agree more. I use the sun a lot even in interiors now. Having a mirror board or a CLRS reflector that pushes light in can be a cheaper alternative to bright lights. Cheers man!

Cinematography is beautiful and simple. Acting is debatable but the couple has good chemistry and the old man is fantastic. The storytelling is not to my liking - I had to skip ahead often for I knew what was going to happen and the poetry wasn't good enough to keep me invested. I liked the music (except for the piano theme). Thank you for making this movie, seems like you had fun and wanted to do something meaningful.

my critique would be that the same location is a bit stale. only so many different shots and angles you can shoot these two. and some beginning shots are a bit shaky. i know you want a handheld vibe but they're more jittery than you'd normally see. i like the color grade. looks great for what is probably low budget.

Thank you! When shooting, we just used the Film Lut provided by Blackmagic. The color grading was done after on Da Vinci Resolve. All the sound is post-sound. We had no sound recordist on set. Fun fact: the voice over was recorded remotely. The voice actor lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina
