Remember whenever you play just about any castle building sim DOUBLE LAYER YOUR WALLS MINIMUM that's the general advice for any game that you can build walls in it helps alot.

I'd give this one more time to cook- once you beat the campaign you're left with Endless Mode where the economy is sluggish and it can take hours to get the unit cap above 30.

It is good, but as not a fan of RTS myself, I soon fell off this one. It still suffered from the "too much going on at the same time" thing for me, and I found I was spending 90% of the time paused, especially during attack waves. The enemy comes from multiple directions usually, so it's not all that fun to watch them attack one area, as you are ducking back to check on other areas, and the full zoomed-out view is not fun to watch.
