Wow, Camille and Kennerly, this was… awesome and genuinely creepy! You never fail to amaze me with your creativity, and every video has something new in it you never did before. In this one, we saw first-person-perspective shots, which always help so much in feeling better involved into the action. And you seem to become more and more comfortable filming in low-light conditions, and it looks simply amazing! Great for your dark-fantasy-themed album! “Catacombs” is clearly the spookiest song of “Twin Destinies”, and this video is really creepy. The dank tunnels, the twins running around in fear, the ghostly skull… but the scene that really spooked me is at 1:05, when Camille is looking right into the camera, singing the refrain and suddenly all colors are inverted. SO creepy, I might get a nightmare from this. 👻😉 I love watching spooky and creepy videos, and this is one of the best I ever saw on KZbin. You girls could direct a horror movie. I wonder what the voices in the background are whispering, but this will be kept a secret, I fear. 😉 And yet again, thanks so much for the lovely premiere chat! Love that dissonant start, and those voices! Sepulchral sound mix, which really supports the imagery. Meeting some really spooky guests inside. Always happy to see Camille and Kennerly OUTSIDE the catacombs. ("Don't go in there! -- Oh DARN, they went in there.") Good thing I read the book, so I know what those incredibly brave Twins were doing, besides risking their lives. (Where's Randolph Carter -- didn't he warn you about going underground? Check H.P. The choice to have the flash forward to the girls running was an interesting choice at 17 sec maybe to keep people's attention, but I feel like the story itself is better without it until we see it later. Anyway, I love these spooky story videos. I feel like you could make a part II to this song playing with the discordant end and low notes of the song within the bridge with a bit more story in the video.
