Nice walking video of the town. Remember going in the early 70's. Hasn't changed much. Thanks

Thank you for producing this amazing video. I felt as if I am walking in real life. I am physically disabled and I always wanted to go to Catolina, your video gave me 14:29 14:35 that chance. Please keep the good thing going and make more such recordings.

I like the highly scenic walkway along the harbor. It is unique with all of the palm trees and the displays of art and sculpture.

My mother often talked about when as a young teenager she visited Catalina with her mother. They rode the train from Utah to LA. What a different world from Utah she would say. She would never tire talking about the glass bottom boat they sailed in. I wonder how Catalina has changed since then.

Jeff, a lot of things are still the same. But some, like the SS Catalina steamship, St. Catherine Hotel, and the Bird Park, are gone forever.

@@robt5818 I didn’t know there was a steam ship in the past. That’s too bad, but thanks for sharing!

If you go back to Catalina Island can you do a walking tour of downtown Avalon including all of the stores and restaurants that they have?

This video shows the shop names on the direction signs at each street corner. It also goes down the boardwalk. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6ugIuJpJyWesk But yes next time to focus on the storefronts would be good idea.
