Couple things about this pedal that don't get enough attention: 1) It's a great all-round WARM delay if you turn down the viscosity and reverb. 2) The preamp is AWESOME for running Fuzz pedals in to. It rounds off the highs and adds mids, which makes fuzz pedals sound HUGE. Plus the preamp can be set to add a nice boost.

Favorite settings - I enjoyed getting the vintage tones, with the settings Howard suggested. Conversely, I got more conventional delay by rolling the balance clockwise, rolling back the reverb and viscosity, and adjusting timing to taste. You can get any taste you want or need, between trippy and normal using these settings.

The tone of this thing reminds me of my Afterneath. But the modulation is the kicker. Interesting. I want your pedals dude. Especially this one and the Echorec. Love it!

Happy Thanksgiving, C-Bread! I really dunno why your subs are not higher cuz I cannot honestly say that your pedals are some of the best on the market. You blow the competition away and you definitely give the leading manufacturers a run for their money.

When the pedal is off does it color the tone any? Because if it darkens the tone even a little then I should stay away from it with my rig.

The british 70's Prog rock group Camel is an old favorite. Guitar player Andrew Latimer played some incredible lines with tons of echo. Wonder what he was using and what would come closest to replicating it.

Mine should be arriving today. I chose the Belle Epoch over it last year which I love to pieces but the jonesing I’ve had for this pedal has been huge. Can not wait to scratch the itch and to make matters even better it’s a foggy, misty morning here in Northern Ireland

Does this pedal respond well to synths? I haven't seen any demos but It sounds to me that it could be a great pedal for pads and ambient leads as well as percussive sounds
@gearjammer9328 Жыл бұрын
The preamp in this pedal just in its own smokes the EP3 preamp pedal that everyone raves about. It also as a delay stacks amazingly with a good analog slap delay - it will take u to Sun Studios Scotty Moore /Ry Cooder Marc Ribot territory

Cannot agree more, I love it as a delay but when I first cranked that preamp trimpot it blew me and my amp away. I have The Talisman which also have a preamp but nothing like the Adineko. Talisman's acts like a boost, Adineko's one is a wonderfull gritty distortion. It's awesome with tube amps :)
@Br4dButt0wski Жыл бұрын
can you have only the preamp in buffered bypass mode?
@jazzercise30011 ай бұрын
Yea I never liked stacking delays but I did used to run my Dawner prince boonar (echorec style delay) into the adineko and it worked very, very well together. The repeats didn't step on each other's toes. I traded mine away and then a year and half later I traded for another one lol literally out for delivery from UPS right now, 1/4/24. There's been a handful of pedals I've liked so much I've sold or traded them looking for something better only to realize my mistake. Ceriatone centura (klone), spaceman polaris (OD with LP filter), DL4 (only for the looper) and now the Adineko. It's that good.

I already have the Adineko at home and i must say i like it a lot !! It makes my sound so warm and lush. There is only one question i have : what is the difference of using 9 volt or 18 volt ? I don't really hear a big difference, so i was wondering... Thanks for you answer and for making this amazing pedal !

Very very cool sounds. I wonder how close you could get using a conventional analog delay with modulation controls?
@andrehfortunato9 жыл бұрын
I don't know exactly, but I think that's nothing near it in sound... that inconsistence made the oilcan sound, maybe a dual delay with deep modulation... let's try, who knows?
@steveanderson94379 жыл бұрын
+Andre Fortunato - I think you're dead wrong. A dual delay with deep modulation is exactly what this pedal does. Maybe you could try one before you make a judgement on its effectiveness.
@andrehfortunato9 жыл бұрын
But this's what I said, let's try, maybe it works, maybe not. Just a suggestion.

Does this have a 'trails mode'? Will it trail off when switched off? Sounds pretty close to the real deal in the demos....

This is a fantastic pedal, and a great demo to get an idea of how to use it effectively, but it results in a one-trick pony impression which couldn't be further from the truth. Too much REVERB will start to mask it's tone, and vibrato. Try fucking with the uglier and more traditional settings (like Hard L, or R on the balance). I tried cutting the range of the pedals in half (like trying to stay below 12 o'clock on certain settings), as if I were some teenager in the 60's trying to build his own shitty oil can delay. These also yield great results, warts and all. If you're new to the pedal start off like this, using the script on each knob like they were the full range of the pedal. Eventually you'll start hearing what you're missing for your "ideal" tone. That's when the fun starts. It also blends surprisingly well with other pedals, despite it's esoteric properties. Alone, it's peculiar and cool tone will stun audiences. If you're looking to stack a couple of delays this would definitely not be wise as a first choice. If you're looking for a cool and original tone that will have most guitarists scratching their heads - LOOK NO FURTHER. It's a privilege to have this thing on your board. THANK YOU CATALINBREAD! P.S - We're still waiting for you to make more Fuzzrite's and the other older pedals that have run out of stock. Looking forward to my email.

I think it is too clear and bright in tone. The rest is pretty good. It just needs darkened up to mimic the capacitive loss.

Like a spring reverb on LSD.
@wgb010019 жыл бұрын
I know it's not supposed to be a conventional delay, but I'd love to hear how it acts as one with just the long head, the viscosity down low, and the blend and reverb at noon. I'm interested in it, but I'd need it to also be a conventional delay when needed.
@steveanderson94379 жыл бұрын
Set balance full clockwise, reduce reverb and viscosity, set timing to "taste". This will give conventional delay tones.
@wgb010019 жыл бұрын
+Steve Anderson Ya, I understand the controls. I'm saying I want to hear a demo of it like that.
