Thanks for the video!! We were there a while ago. And this hotel needs renovation. The bathroom, guest rooms and guest areas are so aged . Do you know if they did any renovations and when?? And we were there as all inclusive vacationers. How does it work now? But the other way the meal, entertainment, and staff were great. However, the bed sea is disappointed 😞😞 because of sea rock in the sea. Take your water shoes!!! Thanks in advance for your co-operation 🤩

Hi there, Thank you very much :) About 2 Catalonia hotels; i can recommend Catalonia Royal La Romana, because Gran dominicus need renovation, reparation etc. There are many things missing in the hotel. Sometimes it is very difficult to find a seat in a restaurant. Beach is amazing. But if you´re asking for Hilton La Romana,? Yes! This hotel is way better than others. Better overall! Service ,cleaning,service,food etc. You can check my Hilton La romana Vlog. Cheers:)

Hi Svetlana! Thank you very much :) I went to Catalonia Hotels end of the July 2021 and as i know is high season in the Dominican Republic mid December - mid April. But i dont know how it will be in winter with this pandemi but July-August was also very busy :)

Hi Manja, * Catalonia Royal La Romana Hotel has two sides; Family zone(with / without kids) and Adults zone(Only Adults), if you stay at Adults zone, you can use the facilities at the Family zone, but you can not enter to Adults zone with kids, if you stay at Family zone with kids. * Catalonia Gran Dominicus has not that kind of system and we freely pass to other hotel (to Catalonia Royal la Romana) becuase they are next to eachother. -- About your question; i pass to other hotel for record video. I asked to bar for drink something and bartender said, you´re not the guest of our hotel. So it means, i stay at the Catalonia Gran Dominicus and can not drink something at Catalonia Royal La romana.. this is a huge disapointment. (You will have a hotel bracelet, thats show you which hotel you staying) But i asked nicely to bartender for a drink for my Vlog so she did, maybe you can use the same strategy :)

Hi Mica, you can find a lot of privat transports when you google it, they pick up you from your hotel / airport and bring you whereever you want so its very good. The prices are almost same but i dont recommend to go with taxi because they always says over price.
