Couldn’t even pay attention to the game. Watched the whole thing in mute confusion at red’s road placement, followed by growing horror at their increasing likelihood of winning

I just skimmed through first 9 minutes of the vid and this is what hes done: His first road after initial placements goes up toward sheep port??? He has no sheep. He leaves road hanging and gets plowed next turn. I think he cities the wrong spot, the brick is an easy target to block and he already has ore with the 4. He should city the wheat and it gives him faster city next time. He has 11 cards in hand. He decides to build 3 roads to protect ore port, fair enough. However, he still has 5 cards in hand. He didnt attempt any trades for another road to wood port, he also didnt attempt any trades to build the settle on the ore port which would prevent him needing to build the extra road to protect it... He 4 for 1s ore for sheep to build on the ore port instead of taking a 2 for 1 trade with dandy. He would literally have a free card if he saved those 2 ore and used the port after he built on it... Next orbit he gets offered a sheep 1 for 1 with dandy, he doesnt take it..... that is just terrible play, his only resource he doesnt produce and he can get it 1 for 1 and doesnt?? He was hilariopusly bad xD

Gosh I look at the intial placements and am just baffled by reds decision for his second placement. I have not watched how it all turns out, but he is essentiall choosing between 9-4-11 and 5-4-11. What interesting is which ever one he chooses he creates a triple wheat spot, and triple spopts always favor the players that are on them. By going 5-4-11 it severly limits how much he can block you. Not to mention red should love the 8-3 with the 3-1 port. shocking decision

The first half or so reminded me of a painful game where I only pulled knights playing OWS think I ended up at 8 maybe 9 by settles and cities and someone pulled vps towards the end, nice game and commentary as always. Keep it up!:)

This isn't a Freudian slip, it's a simple tongue slip. Freudian slips involve substituting a different word that reveals underlying thought. A contraction of two sequential words into another valid word is a common tongue slip and in this case I dink, *I don't think* Drew believes that he sucks or smells bad.
