I never understand this mentality, if I ever got into a game with you I would be stoked to play a regular game to the best of my ability and see if I could win. Target blocking for no reason and letting the board take off baffles me. Side note, love the videos and keep them coming! Had a jet ski accident and I am stuck sitting around at home since surgery. The daily videos are the perfect escape and easy enjoyment each day.

What target blocks? Most of the blocks were justified. Dandy is manipulating you as well as the table with his commentary. And he's very good at it. Saying to us things like bro i'm at 4 points only - look at orange - knowing quite well he'll take road from orange and orange wont be able to win the game anymore. He's just postponing the inevitable. He's trying to keep it under the radar for the other players on the table. Don't know why he's got to lie and manipulate viewers as well. I mean how can orange keep road long term with no brick and less wood than Dandy + they're sharing numbers so not even luck can keep him alive? Orange barely kept army. Dandy just didn't want to take road until last moments because once he secures it he knows it would be harder for him to manipulate other players on the table. I like Dandy and his content but he talks to the viewers like he's tabletalking us as well and is not being objective about the game at all which personally I find annoying. Also if he was indeed target blocked without any reason would he really have MULTIPLE chances to win this game?

I am glad you mentioned this. I understood why black hit me in terms of position. My point was that black played so defensively against me that he ultimately put himself in an unfavorable position for his own game. He has very little hope to win in this endgame because he ultimately lost his win-condition to orange. Balancing the board is not just solo blocking and focus firing one player and look who got last here… I don’t expect anyone to understood what reputation play feels like but it happens all the time when I am using a recognizable account. People have admitted live on stream to blocking or not trading me simply because I am Dandy. I know for a FACT black would never have played that aggressive against me if I was on an anonymous account. It comes with the territory and I take it as a sign of respect at the end of the day.

​@@mariomileta5854 Part of being good at lying/tabletalking is believing what you say. Its hard to switch that off for the sake of content when you're still trying your best to win. I agree with you though that sometimes as a viewer it can get a bit tiresome.

Isn't knowing another player is a pro catan player enough of a reason to prefer blocking them? That in turn can give you a better chance at winning by disadvantaging a pro player. Granted, it's not necessarily sportsmanlike, but the mentality *IS* understandable.

The stats at the end redeem black’s blocking plays. But the real issue was blue and black 2 nd settles. They allowed your mass production.

The fact that you were so close to winning in the end just shows that the majority of blocks that you’re complaining about throughout were warranted tbh

I clearly have a strong position and would have never denied that. The point about the blocks was that black was tunneling in a way that hurt black's chances because he was more concerned about me than his own win condition. It would be make more sense if he was feeding orange road while taking army, but he let orange have army without any consideration. At the end of the video, I made the point that defensive (as opposed offensive) play tends to be less effective in ranked games for this reason.

Game would have been over long ago if you didn’t get blocked early on with all that production. Even though it was annoying, it technically gave everyone else a better chance to win as opposed to just watching you dominate.

Is there a reason you don't port for a sheep on 23:12? 4, 9 and 5 all put you over 7, and its unlikely orange uses a knight before his turn so you'll have some protection.

Drew is so good and so manipulative, it's hard to argue blocking him doesn't make sense. I've been watching all your youtubes and twitches, and just finished one with voice chat where did such a great job of pretending to be hesitative about trading away you ore to first place road player, and then you rushed him and another player into it, only to immediately Dirty Mono them both with a "Presidential Laugh". It was scary how well acted the performance was, as well as other times blatantly lying with no hesitation in voice chat. Also, you have such a huge advantage right off the bat in this game with your set up as well. Considering how aggressively your were attacked, you still had best odds to win at the end. If they hadn't gone after you it probably is a landslide win for you. On different note, I was hoping you'd point right rather than down for road on initial 5/9/10 settle, even with the possibility of the plow. As always, keep the videos coming, very enjoyable. And glad you've changed your name.

You should control the game if you had not so greed by extension one road further, and instead just set at the wood port. This earlier settlement would increase your wood benefit and would also potentially kick Blue out of the game because of brick productivity. I thought Blue's hex placement was simply wrong possibly due to an error like mouse pad slide.

I feel like the race was totally unnecessary. You had a very strong setup and with great expansion spots and road locked. The further ahead you are the less variance you wanna go for.

I didn't really understand the argument of the 942 settle securing road network, since you can always connect via the 62. I think with the earlier 3:1 port you much more easily could win

Yeah I agree the 4 9 2 is better production but who gives a f about getting 3 brick instead of 2 each time a 4 rolls when you could instead have the 3 to 1 port, then move back to either that spot or the 6 2. Because of that move, I think Drew was stuck for a long time without another settle. Not only did he lose the port and get a stuck hand, but he made himself appear like a massive threat as well.
