At 38:01 all you had to do was port and build city. You would have won next orbit by taking army. Mistakes happen!

Absolutely. Made many mistakes in this one and that's cool to share with everyone for educational purposes. One thing I've appreciated during my journey is my willingness to share bad games or mistakes, which wasn't always that way. Though I play at a high-level and intensity every game, we all make mistakes or just have off days. Some creators will only show wins or dominate games instead of showcasing the reality of Catan. My hope is that the community really pushes creators (new and old) to be more vulnerable and share the tough moments. It's more healthy and reasonable that way. Thanks for being here!

@@dandydrew absolutely! You still won regardless. Having the mindset of Continuous Improvement is something people should always have, even when they know they are a top tier player.

I love how the sheep and ore ports align with sheep and ore hexes. Makes 9-5-10 on the right a great first choice.

38:00 - I was thinking maybe plowing black is safer? You have enough to road settle and pop. You don’t get your knight played but you keep him on 8. Might risk losing army to blue but they don’t seem threatening even with army. As played it seemed to risk settle pop which black almost got.

im a bit lost. i thought the 9 5 10 sheep pick was done because you planned to get wheat on the way back so i was expecting an 8/10 as the second pick, but you went for the 6/3 instead. can you explain the thought process there? were you hoping to get another wheat spot but then didn't get it so pivoted to the wood port?
