elements for cities. You cant let such a player get on good sheep as well, cause then they will dominate dev cards. The 5/8/10 on top had great production and was close to the sheep port on the 8/3. Don't underestimate the versatility of ports. An argument could be made for the second one. I personally wouls have gotten the 5/9/10 pointing towards the 4 ore. Getting ore in some moment is almost mandatory, and with both roads pointing there, you could sneak a settlement independently of your rivals. And that second settlement gives you a free road at the start of the game. From that, your early goals wouls be the port and the ore. Anyway, some of the placement decisions of your oponents make me think they are not especially skilled at the game. Never place your roads towards each other at the beginning, for example. Hope this helps!

At 25:00 you could have tried to trade one brick for one wood or one wood for one brick so you could use the 3:1 port for 2 wheat and the third ore. It would have saved a lot of time. Also, if you would have kept the brick instead of building the extra road you could have used the 3:1 to win there. Even if you kept the road in hand they would have had a slightly less chance to steal your ore. Keep up the videos bro👍 I wish you luck on your KZbin and Catan!

I also just now finished the rest of the video and as you discovered there is a max of 15 roads, 5 settlements, and 4 cities.

Idk why you kept building roads when your longest road was well secure. Should have kept those cards to trade for resources you needed.

I'll sub & watch your progress.....I watch a few of the other Catan creators out there but some of them have descended into using chat to pysch other players into making stupid trades.....not a fan of that. Chat is off when I play, I use ports & the bank to get trades on the resources I'm strong in. I suppose those types of techniques are needed when you play at a pro level but I play because it's fun, not to mess w/ ppl.

@@Spathy sorry my mistake I meant to say that you already had 5 settlements :) As I said I dont want to offend you I am just joking around saying you are a noob :) hope you don't take it personally. Wish you luck in your quest. BTW I play also catan univers and a word of advise. If you are just starting and do not have players to play with maybe try colonist. I am staying in catan universe because all my friends paly there and I play only with people I know. I am tired with timeouts, disconnections and bugs and I think those are more rare on colonist...

@@Spathy PS max amount of settlements is 5 max amount of cities is 4 and the max number of roads was 14... I think...
