Hi guys, I’m from Catania and I’m extremely proud of that. 🔴🔵🐘🌋 Thank you so much for this video and for all the beautiful words that you said about my city...I’m really happy that you had great time here. If you love Catania, Catania loves you too! Everything you said in the video was right, except one important thing: Catania is for sure the most “vibrant” and “alive” city of Sicily; our movida is one of the most powerful in all the south of Italy. Everyday the city is full of people...students, tourists, erasmus students and people from other cities that come here to join our movida (especially the nightlife, because there are a lot of pubs, bars, restaurants, trattorie, pizzerie, paninerie, discos). Maybe you were a bit unlucky because of the bad weather or because you didn’t check the right nightlife zones...I’m so sorry for that! 😔 In any case...if you want to come back to Catania, you can write to me and I can tell you a lot of stuff to do, to visit and to eat! 😊

Trinacria. Three capes. Somekind of chaotic mix of Greek, Roman, Arab, Byzantine, Spanish and Norman (your ancestors!) and lots more. Not only on the architecture but also in food ingredients; the typical example of this cultural stratification is just the Cassata. Recently they have found even an ancient shrine of descendants of Vikings in Sicily! I hope you have really enjoyed Italy and that you will be back in the future. You'd be welcome.
