I appreciate this a ton. Taking my grandma to the smokies and I’ve been looking for some waterfall hikes that aren’t too strenuous. Showing each part that might present some difficulties helps so much- you guys absolutely rock for this!

enjoy your post, we have been to Cataract Falls where you couldn't get close to it due to the heavy rains. Waterfall was gushing over and where the sign and benches are was all under water. It was beautiful, we walk it every time we come to the Smokies.

There is a shorter way to Cataract Falls. Good for older folks or if you have mobility issues. It's off 441 a very short distance back toward Gatlinburg. (trailhead for the Cove Mtn Trail)

We do Cataract Falls every time we come up from North Mississippi. It's a great little hike for adults and children alike. Always so pretty and so peaceful. Thanks for bringing us along. Can't wait to get back to the Smokies later this summer.

we just visited the smokies last week and did the laurel and grotto falls. loved the hikes. will have to check this one next time. we visit couple times a year. its our home away from home in kentucky. thanks for the video.
