Favorite part - Clevinger’s trial when the colonel asks for the last line to be read back. 😂 My favorite characters were Orr and Chief White Halfoat.

There were so many good characters. I met someone who didn't like the book the other day and was shocked ... SHOCKED!

You win by using the phrase "absurdity of war" in your review. I honestly feel like anyone who doesn't, really didn't get the book.

Thanks Yossared! Surely there can't be people who read the book and come away with another conclusion!

It would seem I have a differing opinion than most of this book. Personally I didn’t find much coherence in this book(although that is the point of most of it) and it may be due to my absurd sense of humor or that it’s for an assignment but hopefully in the future I’ll have a different opinion.

Not every book is for every person. I generally tend to find that if I didn't like the book it is for a reason (even if I can't explain it well). If you like absurd humour then maybe 'Cat's Cradle' by Kurt Vonnegut may be more up your alley mate 😄

@@MereMortalsBookReviews I appreciate it, I may give that a try later down the road but currently my taste tends to lean more towards dystopian and fantasy books

No worries, some of my favs are dystopians for sure. 1984 and the like

😎🥸Superb review📜🧐🤓👍🏾 What are your thoughts on Herman Melville's Moby dick 🐳?
@MereMortalsBookReviews Жыл бұрын
Thanks Daniel. I read Moby Dick a fair while ago and quite enjoyed it. Might be worth having a re-read, thanks for the suggestion!

@@MereMortalsBookReviews In your view is Don Quixote a better novel than Moby dick?

@@MereMortalsBookReviews I also forgot to mention that I acquired Catch-22 late last year, I think it was on December but I hadn't read it yet; so your review has put me in a 🤔 pleasant predicament. I'll have to skip certain books on the list to get that hell of an air raid ride you got.

Ooof that's a tough one because I read that a long time ago as well. I probably just prefer Moby Dick, but not by much
