I can just imagine Lot and his family making their way out of the city. And the moment they get that far, his wife turns around and instantly becomes a pillar of salt. Because they were told to leave the city but don’t turn around. It’s the whole essence of our walk is to not be drawn back but keep going forward. And throughout our life we have people and things that we enjoy and love. But when we commit ourselves to God, we have to be open handed. It reminds me of the rich young ruler who didn’t want to part with his valuables. That was missing out for sure. Though God never forces himself on anyone. It’s a choice we all have. And thankfully when we do fall astray, he will always be waiting for us. But that makes it that much more important to stay by his side. Everyday. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Hi Jimmy. Praying for you and Miss Chris for a complete recovery. I noticed yesterday that your post (which I watch EVERY DAY) was not up on YT. The first thing that came to mind was that if everything was ok with her and you. When I finally watched it later in the day, my fears became clear. I've been married to Tere for going on 52 years this St. Patrick's Day. We've been through the good and the bad, been at each other's throats; we've pretty ,much seen it all. But, at the end of the day I don't know what I'd do without her. Pretty much the same way you feel about Chris. I pray each day that the Lord takes us at the same time, painlessly, peacefully and quickly. We just have to keep loving on Him and each other till we get to paradise. Keep on loving. Keep on preachin. And, keep on fishin! May God bless us and keep us. May He make His face shine upon us and give us peace. Amen! Take care brother.
