I’m thankful that God isn’t just what the world would want him to be, but who he is by his word and truth. And that he is always near and watching no matter where we are in our lives. He’s there. In the midst of everything. I remind myself to keep my head up and keep going. God’s promise is better than anything the world has to offer. And someday soon we’ll be able to leave aside everything and stay with God forever. What a glorious day that will be. No sin or temptations. No pain or discomfort. No battles with our flesh. I know exactly how you feel, Mr. Jimmy, I lost my father when I was 15 and he was only 44 but he and I spent all the time when not working side-by-side in the field we spent it hunting and fresh and saltwater fishing, being from North Carolina and only an hour and a half from the coast we had the best of both worlds. It doesn’t matter where my bass fishing takes me now at 64. Nothing will beat those memories I had when my dad.

I will certainly Pray for your sister. My wife is a 5 year breast cancer survivor. We completely understand the devastation that diagnosis brings! Tell her to lay it at the Cross! Cry out to God and ask for His help in this battle. Keeping a positive attitude is hard but so important. I am Praying that God will guide her doctors and medical team and hold your sister in His loving and healing arms. She will need support from loving family and friends. I am Praying. God Bless you. To please the Father is far greater than to please men. Men's honor means so very little and is quickly gone, man has the sin nature within him and therefore not worthy to be trusted or held to high esteem. And yet, because of the Age of Grace that Jesus ushered in, we can be saved and thus filled with the Holy Spirit, thus making us eligible to be heard. He hears the praises and thanks from those that are His, just as He hears the prayers of the Believer. Man has no power, not at least the man of this world. But the man who is a Believer in Christ, he has access to all power because he has access to Jesus. The worldly man wants to butter up God in order to get what he wants, he can't help it because it is his nature to do so. Even when he prays, the worldly man prays very selfishly, it is hard for him not to. Jesus was and is about others, He put God the Father first to please and then He served others, even those that were thankless. So, we should be more worried about what God thinks of us than what man thinks. Just as the child seeks to please the parent, we should be doing the same thing for God. David sought to please God, he wanted so to put a smile upon His face. David's whole concern was to serve his God as best as he could, totally trusting Him no matter what. David saw himself as representing his God, to be the obedient servant. We represent Jesus, the more that we do so, the brighter we Shine for Him. So Shine on Brother, for He is Worthy of all Praise, Thanks, Honor, Glory and Worship!
