Unlike Naked and Afraid, ALONE, or Survivorman, there is no limit to the tools we are allowed to use. Living off just WILD foods is harder than you think!
In this episode we track down armadillo in Texas using a catch net, as well as a 22 LR. I will teach you how to stalk, sneak, and catch them with a simple catch net. We look at the armadillo habits, their eyesight, terrain, habitat, and hearing and burrows. Catching armadillo is more challenging than you think! This is a how to catch an armadillo!
We hunt FERAL hog too.
We fish for catfish, alligator gar, long nose gar and drum, crawfish, crawdads, or yabbies, ghost shrimp, bluegill, rio grande perch, armored catfish, flathead catfish, blue catfish, alligator, freshwater clams, leopard Frog.
All wild foods are on the menu!
We seek out wild edibles including prickly pear cactus pads or nopal, cactus fruit or tuna, wild onions, mulberries, wild grape, Texas persimmons, pecan and anacua, mulberry, tasajillo, turks cap, yucca pods, cats briar, oion, chili pequin, duck weed, ground cherries, desert hackberry.

Nuggets my little man . Live in top of trees you don't see them because thier green with the skin on. Thier difficult to clean cause thier so small. But they lay eggs in nest in the trees hatch baby nuggets. And McDonald's goes hunting them in winter time . With straws armed with paper walds. When they sing they sound like rice crispy with milk over them. And that's where they live in the forest

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life..!.!.’z

I don't think this guy will be surviving long with his body parts falling off of him or him stuffing his pockets full of flowers because of him decaying and dying from the boo bonnac plague.

Being from Central America, I have eaten armadillo many times. But I had never seen it prepared the way you guys did. We always charbroiled it with the shell on and the meat exposed over the fire. I remember the smell of the meat cooking and the sound of the fat dripping into the fire. And you are right, it tastes like bird, probably like a fatty duck or turkey meat. Thanks for the video.

My mom made this dish once, she boiled the meat for 2 hours then she let it rest!, after seasoning it she put it in a roasting pan and stuffed it with yams and sweet onions!, then drizzled it with salt and pepper!, she put it in the oven for an hour and a half!, when done the meat is roasted and tender and sweet like a tangy bbq flavor!..It's a great recipe for wild game.

My grandmother ( from Guatemala ) use to eat and cooked armadillos for us in the shell. Cutting the bottom of the dillo off , skinning and placing the meat back in the shell after cleaning the inside of the shell. Mixing tomatoe , onion , seasons and covering with tin foil putting it on coals in the back yard for 3 hours it's ready to eat. It's amazing and simple food that people never think of eating. Good on yah for showing people to never be afraid of eating animals that they are afraid of.

Really awesome to see you both having a great time. Used to live in San Benito, TX and I used to take my friends on adventures just like this on bicycles and cheap Mexican slingshots (homemade pocket shots) in hand. You could also find Chile del Monte around there to have with your meat and cut up some nopales (taste a little like okra)‼️Also down dirt roads where I knew dogs would be to scare my friends to death as they chased us 😁😂‼️ I really miss cooking with mesquite and eating real fajitas not roast cut into strips made to look like it here in Kentucky 🤦‍♂️
